I have been diagnosed Celiac for about 15 years. I loved Campbell's soup but everything, until recently, has been full of gluten/modified food starch. All other brands of GF Cream of Mushroom and Chicken soups available on the market are gelatinous gray goo. They are gross to put it mildly. BUT, Campbell's GF cream soups are the closest thing to the real thing. Friends and family cannot tell the difference. They are WONDERUL! I am absolutely thrilled to be able to again make my favorite recipes that use the cream soups. The flavor and consistency is GREAT! I am so very happy. Read more

Pro/Con: Looking for a no salt version with a pop-top lid and this is good for making a delicious base for gravy. Easy to open, thick enough without needing to add water or milk and ready for adding your own spices to make it flavorful. It still has 5% sodium in the whole can, but that's better than anything else by Campbell's. I don't like the soy, cornstarch, and/or unhealthy oils they use as olive oil would be so much healthier or just no oil at all. It's a good texture, versatile in recipes, and value lies in the convenience of having it delivered monthly without having to purchase them in bulk. I personally prefer to add very little salt to meals I make. Most prepared foods are so laden with salt that it's all you can taste. Utilizing the vast array of spices available to us makes each meal unique and so much more enjoyable as well as healthy. For me, it's a 5 star, but if you are used to pouring salt on everything, you will probably not appreciate this mushroom soup as it is quite bland by itself. Read more

I bought this for Thanksgiving, and all I could find was unsalted. I needed it for green bean casserole, and it tasted great and kept it from being too salty overall. It was a great value, as good as going to the store myself, and so convenient. I'll always buy unsalted going forward, it was perfect. Read more

I'm a fan of casseroles especially green bean casserole. I'm very appreciative that Campbell's has this gluten free cream of mushroom soup so I can safely use it (celiac) and avoid gluten in recipes. I ordered it just in time for making holiday meal side dishes. I did not notice any significant difference in taste to the regular option. Read more
