Having done many "wraps" I think this is an essential part of a good job. The latex in the cohesive tape can be irritating to some and this paper thin foam helps with that..It also helps with the removal of the cohesive tape not sticking to the skin. My daughter uses this as a headwrap. It is thin so we double layer yet. It helps hold the hair out of her face during sporting games and keeps the sweat out of her face as well. it does its job well.
