Good Reproduction - Poor Framing
I purchased the 24x47 size (the original is 32x 60) I was pleased with the printing on canvas, color and detail are good, but unfortunately there was obvious quality control problems with the stretching. There was a little rip at one edge on the wrapped section and the canvas was very loose causing it to ripple. I did not return it because making the repair and re-stretching was easier than dealing with returns. Perhaps I got a rare bad sample; the Nitehawks looked good but it is a shame the framing workmanship was so poor. Read more

wrap around canvas on frame very nice
I'd always felt drawn to this iconic image whenever I would by chance see it in a magazine or such. My grandfather owned two successful diners in lower Manhattan during the 20's & 30's and this image always brings him to mind. looks great hanging on the wall above my Maddox 1950's replica Gov Winthrop Secretary desk. Looks Fine!
Given some of the other reviews here, I was a little nervous ordering this. But, I figured, worst case scenario would be that I returned it. It arrived very quickly, and looks just fine. The print is good quality, and the stretching is even and taut. No scratches or tears as others have had. I do wish they printed it with a border that wrapped around the frame, so the print would not ended up being cropped. But that takes more work to get it all sized and lined up properly, so I would expect to pay a higher price for that. Read more
