These are amazingly beautiful boots. The pictures do no justice to their beauty. Mine arrived quickly and I was so awed and enamered with their look and quality I ordered the other 2 colors right away. I wore the Champaigne color already and have received rave compliments. The Black boots are " to die for." Haven't worn them yet, but I can hardly wait. The snake print pair are true "charmers." Recommendation: BUY these boots while you can! Yup, definitely a lot of bang for the buck! Super cute. The ankle part is elasticized and at first I thought it might be tough to get into (as there is no side zipper) but my feet and ankles are narrow so I got them on. True to size. I wear a 9 in some shoes, a 9 1/2 in most. So I went with a 9. A 9 1/2 would have probably been a tad sloppy.) I thought the exterior might be a suede but it's actually kind of a beige crushed velveteen (which I'm usually not a fan of) but it works. In fact it MORE than works.. I should add that the shaft at the top has a bit of a gap (once on) for people with thinner ankles and calves but most boots are like that on me, so I'm used to that. I just tuck skinny jeans into it. I bought these boots for those few times each year that I go to a "new country" music concert. Really pretty boots but harder to put on than any other boots I own, really hard!. Tried to use a shoe horn. No help at all. Ended up using a pair of pliers. That worked. Once on, they feel great. I have wide feet and usually wear a wos sz9 in almost all of my cowboy boots. Ordered a size 9. These are really comfy. They're a struggle to get on. Hope not as difficult to get off! Won't find out til I get home tonight. Still, I'm happy with the purchase. They just need zippers instead of the elastic side inserts! Read more
I purchased these boots for a party because I wanted to stand out and they didn’t disappoint. They were a little hard to get on with cotton socks but once I put on some dress socks they worked out fine. They were very comfortable, the heel wasn’t too high and so I danced in them all evening. There is no non-skid rubber sole as the description states. The one and only time I wore them, I slipped immediately. There are no laces to adjust the fit as the description states. There is no padding as the description states. I bought these to wear to a formal "boots and ball gowns" party in Texas. I had to wear them even after I slipped, because I had nothing else suitable. I had to hang on to my husband's arm. I certainly didn't "run around" in them as the description claims. Amazon agreed to a return, but the seller demands original package. I ordered them a month before the event. They fit, so I threw the box away. Unfortunately, I discovered when I actually went to the party that they don't begin to live up to the description. The seller will not accept the return. I'm going to call Amazon and see if they'll do anything for me, but I'm not holding my breath. Run the other way! Update: Amazon suggested I file an "A to Z" refund request, and then they promptly denied it. Apparently, third party sellers are not obligated to give an accurate description of the product. I originally purchased these boots in my size (a 10) and fell in love with the look of them, just not how they felt. My big toe was being smushed in a way that I couldn’t just walk off. I decided to go up a size and they fit perfectly! All toes intact and pain free! I can’t speak on the durability or comfort just yet, but I think these would be good for an outing of some kind that involved light walking/standing around. Read more
