LOVE THIS BACKPACK. It is so spacious; do not let its size deceive you - it'll fit many days worth of clothes and toiletries in it. It's adjustable and has several pockets to put things in. I was able to keep things organized easily with this bag. Goes through security just fine; had no questions or issues with its size when flying on Spirit and other airlines. It's comfy to carry and I've used it sometimes on day trips as well because it's just a really good backpack. It's stayed clean after many flights and spot cleaning to get any scuffs off of it has been a breeze. Read more

I bought the 17" size to be my "personal item" on a Frontier flight and I loved it! Previously I had a duffel-bag style bag but that got so uncomfortable to carry. Switching to a backpack was a huge upgrade in terms of comfort and I highly recommend it. The boxy shape of this backpack makes it perfect for maximizing what you can carry within the size limits of a budget airline personal item. Note that one picture says the backpack is 18.5" tall but Frontier's longest allowed dimension is 18". Because this backpack is not super structured, it does squish into the bag sizer just fine! The caveat is that you must not overstuff this backpack. You could definitely put in too much stuff, or pack it in a way that distorts it, and then it wouldn't fit. I also found that on Frontier, the underseat area for the window seat is a little smaller than the other seats, and I did have to squish the backpack a little bit to get it under there. Totally works, you just have to be mindful how you pack this. Similarly, if you have anything significant in the side water bottle pocket, that would also make your pack "too large." I do like the pockets on this. In particular, the exterior zipper pockets are great for keeping little items close at hand, and the laptop sleeve is nice too. I really like how it unzips around 3 sides so you can pack it like a suitcase and then access it from the top like a normal backpack. For what it is, it's quite comfortable. The straps have a little padding and sat comfortably on me. It actually feels pretty well-made and has held up in my travels so far with no problem. Again, it's not super-structured, so it does lose some of that crisp boxy shape over time that it has right out of the box, but it still looks pretty good and stays easy to pack. Read more

Durable, versatile, great functionality. Quality is good, with solid zippers and buckles. According to my husband, I already have about a million backpacks, which is close but not quite true. Can't be more than half of it. Nonetheless, this one is a great addition- no more rummaging around in a top loading pack; the 180 closure design that lets it open like a suitcase makes finding and packing stuff much easier when at the airport, in the plane or in the hotel. In and outside pockets makes organizing easy and it fits a laptop. I would not take it hiking, though- but that is where my other 500k packs come back in. This pack comes in two different sizes, I purposefully chose the smaller one since I only need it as a "personal item", for which it is perfect- it fits everything I need for the flight and the first night, plus a bit more. Amazon warns that the smaller size is often returned, so make sure you understand your need before buying. If in doubt, maybe go for the bigger size. I would buy again, but given the solid quality I doubt I will need to do so anytime soon. I bought the beige one which looked great when unpacking but the nylon fairly quickly changed color to more of a brownish gold. It still looks good, no complaints, but wanted to mention it. However, I found a light color rather impractical, an issue that is certainly not unique to this product. Read more

We bought these for carry on and we flew American Airlines. They were just a bit smaller that the carry on size and boy can you fit a ton of items into this bag. It has several compartments so there is a place for everything, It's very easy to tighten the straps on the sides if you need to make the bag smaller. Thick material and the tech pocket is padded for protection. Nice thick material that does get a little warm on your back when you are in a crowded airport but the back has a nice mesh material to help airflow. Straps were nicely padded so you don't get straps digging into your shoulders. So far we have taken this bag on four trips and it still looks brand new. Read more

Perfect for small trips! Used it for a few now (no issues using it as a carryon) , and my biggest complaint is that the stitches are weak in some areas. I did stuff it quite tightly on a few occasions and I think that strained it, as a hole ripped in one of the seams. It was easily repaired, but be careful to not overpack with it. Read more

This is a great travel pack. It is good quality for the price. It is great for a weekend trip or airplane carry-on. Two sides also have handles like a suitcase so you can hand carry it or wear as a backpack. I found this very comfortable to wear with the padded straps. I bought the smaller size and it fits well under the airplane seat. I love the blue color. Read more
