I will admit I expected to return this chair! But wow much to my surprise I am not only keeping it but here to say it's so comfortable and I sit in it for up to 8 hours a day! I do use a booty cushion but that's only because I am older and have less of a booty than I used to. It's worth every penny I spent on it. Its sturdy and seems well made. Took about 30 minutes to assemble. It looks great in my office. And the size is perfect for me at 5'5. My back has stopped hurting from sitting so long, so for that alone I am thrilled. So, the only real downside of it is the arms, they aren't as sturdy as I would like, due mostly to my age, I tend to use the arms of any chair to help lift myself up off the chair. These do not shake but feel as though they might break so makes me nervous to try and use them. So, I am trying to readjust my habit of using the arms to help lift me up. I was going to buy an another different chair we have in our home made by Herman Miller. It was expensive. I wanted to try this and if it was a fail, I was going to bite the bullet and do another Herman Miller. I am 5’11. It’s a wonderful chair. I compared it side by side to our other one. The HM one doesn’t have a headrest and I personally would never get another chair without this feature. The back support is equal to what our other chair is. It was super easy to assemble. The difference between this and HM in my opinion are some of the parts that cover things. The price point of this wins 10x over! Read more

This chair is comfortable and keeps you cool. It leans back more than any other chair I have had before. The resistance to make it lean back is strong, allowing you to sit back without it leaning. The only issue I have is that you cannot use the arms to assist yourself in standing up. I have a bum knee, and I guess I will have to work my ab muscles to stand up. Read more

Upgraded to rollerblade style wheels, the chair itself is so comfortable! Works great for a taller person (I am 6' 4"", 245 pounds). Have zero issues with my back after sitting for more than 4 hours. Can't recommend this chair enough. Read more

I’ve only had it a little while, but it is a great solid beast of a chair. It holds my big butt up and doesn’t squeak or anything. I will say the head rest is a little awkward. Almost like it was an afterthought. You literally clip it on and screw it down. It stays attached to the chair, but it doesn’t stay where you need it. If you lean your head back the headrest goes all the way back with no resistance. Read more

Overall I was disappointed in the chair I received, and contacted the capot team for resolution. i thought i received a faulty chair, but according to them it is intended to function this way. I decided to keep the chair to avoid the hassle of a return, but the stellar customer service team at capot decided to give me a partial refund as a compromise. My issues with the chair are as follows: Difficult to adjust headrest low enough for my short height (5 foot 4 inches) and difficult to touch feet on ground at lowest height setting. Not very friendly for those of us less vertically gifted. Lumbar support adjustment wedges against back of chair when assembled and presses against back support mesh. Bolt threads tapped so badly feels like you're cutting them yourself when installing the bolts (even after lining up threads by hand multiple times) The mesh leaves impressions on bare skin, so no sitting cross legged Read more

I took a chance on this chair and so far I'm impressed. When I received the box and opened I noticed how CAPOT individually wrapped each part and piece in a silver padded sleeve. Well protected to prevent damage. Chair went to together easy, instructions simple to follow and within 15-20 minutes had it together and sitting in it. The chair sits higher than most, IMO. I'm 6'-1" and like to sit high at the desk. This chair allows me to sit up with feet flat, back straight and arms level at the desk. Makes a very comfortable sitting and working position for me. Most chairs seem to sit lower and I am continually readjusting for comfort. Have only had for one day, but so far like the chair. Really impressed by the packaging and protection. Most do not protect this way. I wish i would have taken pictures, but by the time i thought about it, I had already unpacked everything and started building.
