Update: the strips have fully faded to a shiny grey after about a week of them being installed. Guess it's expected for show cheap they are. Prior: This is cheap and easy as well as very noticeable upgrade to your interior. They're super easy to cut with a good razor blade and you just trim to the length of your vehicles vents. There's a rubber lining on the inside of the colored secrion that grips to your vent and holds really well. The colored section does tend to kink easily and show minor ripples if you bend them too far so you have to watch for that, otherwise a very respectable interior upgrades. I bought these to add some flare to my car. Easy to install. Just measure and cut. For $6 I figured it was worth a shot. The metallic blue looks good when you initially put in on, but it does fade quickly. As stated in other reviews, the colors (at least the blue in my case) fades to what just looks like a dull chrome. Kinda cool looking still, but these lasted a few weeks at most. Don't expect a permanent bright color. These would need to be replaced every so often to keep them looking good. Read more

Update: 2nd photo shows the color faded away after only about 6 months. My car is garage kept plus I work from home, using my car mostly only on weekends, so it receives waaay less sun exposure than the avg vehicle. Original: I've only installed one so far, it was super easy. I don't understand why other reviewers had trouble getting it open. I have fat fingers, no fingernails and it's a cool day. If you do have trouble, maybe try sliding a credit card thru it 1st. I love the look, my car needs some color! My concerns are: 1. The color does chip at the cut, I'm going to borrow sharper wire snippers & try again. Or maybe measure then slice w/a knife or box cutter so there's less "squeeze". 2.
