Quite surprised how well this worked! purposely ran the battery down on my 4.0 liter ancient 1968 4x4. After fully charging this jump start unit i hooked it up got a green lite immediately and my old Nissan patrol fired right up! how long the charge lasts remains to be seen but this sure beats jumper cables and begging for a jump! Nice size, good battery and super alligator clips
Everyone should have one of these. It's got a decent size battery - and in my mind - if it's good for 3 jumps than it's fine. This states that it will do 20 - I wonder. It has to be at 70% according to the manual. I tested this on a dead battery and it went from 86% to 62% but still worked. The display is easy to read and the clamps fit well into the main unit. Clip the clamps to the battery, connect to the unit and wait for the green light to come on and wait for the "click" and you're ready to go. It's 50 watt hours so you can also charge up your phone and smaller electronics if needed. It does not come with a case and I would recommend one. It comes in a plain box and that's harder to store in your glove compartment. The alligator clips on this are the best of 3 units I own. Great clamping pressure. Overall: Really solid unit, nice display, easy for anyone to use and jumps almost anything. Even a cheapy bag would have been nice however. Read more
