Being an Excursion owner your already skeptical of things that say they 'fit' an Excursion. When the box got here I laughed and said great another Amazon return. Well to my amazement it fits nearly perfect, it was quite the challenge finding someplace to open it in the house to get it arranged to put on but went on by my self within 5 minutes. I removed antenna it only takes a 7/16 wrench and 3 seconds. We will see how it last to a UP winter... The cover worked great all winter!!! its actually such a nice cover the only time the Ex is uncovered is just before I go somewhere, and covered easily when I get back. Totally worth it!!! Read more
This is the first cover that fits our extra-large SUV and we have purchased many. The inside is soft so it doesn’t scratch the paint and it’s sturdy enough so that the wind doesn’t move the cover around, letting dirt and debris get on the SUV. All-in-all we’re very happy with this cover and consider it money well spent Read more
Could of been a bit bigger to cover a little more of the truck in the front or back but overall it’s a great size. Now I can wash truck 0nce a month if that. Read more
We were looking for a cover for my husband‘s lifted 2003 ford excursion Eddie Bauer 6.0 diesel. Just to keep in mind he did add aftermarket headlights and the cover even was able to cover those we were so surprised and also the truck being lifted the cover was able to cover half of the wheel which was very surprising to us! Yes it will fit your excursion but it is absolutely the worst car cover I have ever bought from Amazon. It’s not waterproof but any means and at best it holds water. It’s cheap and garbage. You get the same junk at for Walmart $100 cheaper. Don’t buy this cover if you care about your truck at all!! Read more
We have had this cover on our Excursion for seven months. Our objective was to protect the vehicle from the brutality hot Arizona summer sun. Here about three weeks back, my husband noticed a strange looking section on the hood area of the cover. It looked like a four inch long by one inch wide section of the cover was rotting away—but just the very top layer. The remainder of the cover was in like new condition. A lifetime warranty was stated when we purchased the cover, so I contacted the seller. I sent them a picture of the issue, along with my description of the problem. The following afternoon I received a reply: "We will be sending you a new cover. " Could it really be that easy, I thought? Seven days later, there it was at the front door. Now that's customer service! July 2023 — Update! In out case, in the desert south west, we get 12 to 15 months out of these covers until the protective coating rots away;thus rendering the cover useless. The first cover lasted little more than 6 months. That said; it did not appear to have the protective coating that the second cover had. The second cover lasted there about 12 months before it began shedding (Flaking away) on the top. Another claim for the "lifetime warranty " was filed and accepted,or so we thought. Two weeks passed and we never received the replacement cover. Upon contacting Amazon CS, we were ultimately provided a replacement cover. At that time we were also informed that the lifetime warranty had been fulfilled. Bottom line: This product is not covered by a true lifetime warranty, and if you live in a hot climate do not expect more than 12 months use out of this cover. Read more
The cover is great. The shipper, FedEx, had trouble finding me even though they have been here hundreds of times. Car Cover Master resent a new cover for free and refunded my money for the missing one. They have great customer service. Thank you Sam. Read more
