The reason I bought this pad is because my old headrest is not adjustable front-to-back, and it stands too far back to save my neck adequately in case of an accident. Good points: This is a very comfortable pillow which helps with those very long freeway trips. It is well made and easy to install. Weak points: I have a Hyundai Santa Fe. The pillow is thick enough that it is always in contact with the back of my head. That is distracting because I am not used to always having the back of my head against the head rest. It is okay when I am looking forward but a distraction when I need to turn my head. This is subjective to me and may not be a problem for you. It would have been better if the pillow was somehow adjustable so that it was not as thick. Bad points: None. Read more

Let's get something straight first, this is not a luxury quality item. But, it does have the right design and fits my car's headrest just right. The support is also comparable to others I have had in the past. It also has a zipper that I can open which led to the discovery of the black coloring you can see in the photos. It's not mold in my opinion since it didn't rub off. It doesn't smell, not even that chemical smell. Yes, I smelled it... as part of the Amazon Vine review community, we have pledged our mortal lives to giving the most detailed reviews we can. : } But I didn't taste it, that was not part of our blook oath to you, our loyal customers. : } I have to believe this is a one off, a dud. I have to give it a 2 star review because of what I found but that doesn't mean I wouldn't think about buying another one at this price point. Fit: It fits my 2025 CRV Hybrid Sport perfectly. Pain relief/comfort: I did not get it to relieve pain but to make the headrest more comfortable for long trips. The CRV headrest is lacking in that area and this helps. Thickness: The dimensions are fine. However, it is a stiff memory foam, which makes it too thick. But not a deal breaker. If it “breaks in” then I’ll update review. Quality: It is well made with quality material that seems built to last. The outer material is very soft to the touch.
