If you own a car, you need to own a battery based jump starter such as this one. Because, eventually your car's battery will die. My experience has been this will happen on one of the first extremely cold winter days, or an extremely first hot summer day. The reason is that your old battery is too stressed for either and can no longer provide the necessary power (read cranking amps) to start your engine. At the time you don't want to be stuck somewhere with nobody around to help you start your car with a traditional jump starting cable. Instead, you want to have this battery based jump starter with you to get you going in just minutes. That way, you can drive to your closet store to get your battery checked and possibly replaced. This jump starter kit is incredible. First, it all comes in a sturdy carry case so everything you need stays together. Next, the battery jumper itself not only helps you get your car going, but it also includes a small compass, just in case you do have to walk to the next town. On top of that it has two built-in lights, one white and one red. The white light can serve as a regular flashlight, or send the SOS Morse code. The red light can flash either alone or in combination with the white alternating. All these are designed to provide safety and visibility for and to you. The battery charges with the included USB-C cable. My recommendation is to check the charge of your jump starter at least monthly. You dont want to find out the battery is discharged when you need it. You should be able to recharge your battery from your car while driving.
