This is my first removable magnetic car phone holder. It works great as a phone holder. The phone is held on pretty tightly by the magnetic part and it is easy to adjust. The bottom is sticky though and so it is not as easy to take off and move around (even with the suction) as the video suggests. Read more
Very nice Magsafe car phone holder. The extra pieces are a nice touch, to make for a good connection with your dash or wherever you want to mount it. It's nice that it can be adjusted or manipulated in many different directions, to give you the proper viewing angle. The magnet is very strong, your phone isn't going anywhere unless you violently roll your car. Don't do that. The magnet even pulls off the Magsafe finger ring that I have on the back of my phone case. Overall, it's very easy to use, the phone snaps right into place on the magnet and you're good to go. This mount is awesome. It replaced my original that had a square magnet which required that my phone case have one of those disc metal plates adhered to it. I am not a fan of those bulky mounts that have a large arm and clamp that has to squeeze the phone. I find those unreliable. This one has a base that comes with it so that you can mount it to your dash if you want. I chose the windshield suction option. It works great. The box also included an adhesive metal ring in your youse phone case doesn't offer it. I went ahead and installed in on the back of my phone. That along with the one that my phone case has makes the connection very solid. I don't worry that a bump or sharp turn is going to send my phone flying. It is a very easy installation. The mount is solid quality. It rotates and pivots to any angle. The design is a nice minimalist set up so it doesn't obstruct my view while driving. So far no issues with the suction not holding. It locks in with a turn of the base. My original one had th lever. Both are easy to use. It does not offer charging, this is a very straight forward phone base mount. I would recommend it. I got a magsafe phone holder like this before that ended up going dead on me due to the hinge so I got this one instead. The advertisement is very interesting in that it advertises that it can hold on to phones using the magnet... I have a case that is supposed to work with MagSafe holders like this and it just... slides off... not sure what's going on here with this... I have to glue on the given metal ring to make it work. Not a HUGE deal... but just disappointing that I have to add another attachment to my case. The instruction is written with a VERY commanding tone (that's not very good English) that seriously seems overstating requirements. The installation of the metal ring for the magnet also suggests tools that are not present in the packaging, leading to a LOT of confusion. The wipe provided also seem to be for the wrong product as it's for screen cleaning... I guess it works? The overall construction seems sound... but it's the hinge that concerns me, as usual... only time will tell if this holds up but so far it seems to be doing its job. Read more
I got this for my truck, which doesn't have a proper navigation screen, but since I was about to head out on a cross-country road trip, I tried it out in my car over the long ride. The holder was easy to attach to the dash and its grip is super-firm. Like really strong. I was impressed. It hasn't budged a millimeter since. My iPhone easily attached to the mount's magnet. The articulated arm to position the phone is very firm, as it should be, and the phone will stay put in the exactly the place you want it, even over 1500 miles of sometimes bumpy roads. I can't imagine a holder doing better than this one did, and I can't wait to get it into the truck. Five stars. Read more
This product sucks. It won't mount to dashboard. I mounted it to the window and the position was not where I wanted it. I tried to remove it to repostion it. But the adhesive had stuck to the glass so good. When I tried pulling it of the mount had broke.. Read more
This car phone holder has a simple design and works with MagSafe, making it easy to snap my iPhone on and off. The rotation is smooth, and the size is just right for holding my phone securely. I used to have a very similar one, but its suction base wasn’t strong and kept falling off. So far, this one has stayed in place, which is a relief. The only challenge for me is that my car dashboard doesn’t have a perfectly flat surface, so positioning is a bit tricky—especially with a heavier Pro Max phone. Since the mount doesn’t extend its neck, I still have to adjust a little to find the best viewing angle. But overall, it holds well and hasn’t fallen yet, which is already an improvement over my old one. Read more
