I have had this for many months now, maybe even longer than a year & it’s still on my dash & hasn’t came off or fallen at all. It works so well and is the absolute best phone mount I’ve had yet and I’m 33. 😂 it hold my iPhone 12 mini very well. It’s adjustable in multiple spots. Super easy to install. Suction is insanely good, even in the heat. TIP: make sure your phone is not placed in-front of a vent during winter or the heat will over heat your phone, I accidentally did that twice now because in the summer i adjust my phone to sit infront of the vent so the AC keeps it cool & that way the sun doesn’t overheat my phone but just make sure to adjust it back & move it from in front of the vent once you start using the heat again. I only use the air condition vent attachment just to be clear for this review. The other pieces did not work with my car but this attachment, which is arguably the most difficult to find one that works well ACTUALLY works! A lot of times the attachment just droops and does not stay in the exact spot where you adjust it to and it usually is annoying to take the phone in and out of the piece. Not so with this one. It is relatively easy to first screw it into the ac vent and then to secure it in the angle that you prefer. Not only that, there is a button on the back that opens the “claws” that holds the phone to allow for easy removal of the phone and thus avoiding the eventual frustrating drooping of the phone. This product worked fine for a while, but I think my phone/case just weigh too much and put a lot of strain on the various plastic pieces. Eventually the mount separated from the suction/sticky cup. I eventually switched to a 10.1” Android screen car stereo so I don’t need my phone for navigation anymore. If you have a large phone or a heavy case like I do, I think you’ll need to find another solution. If phones were still the size of the iPhone 4, it would probably be fine, but they’re just so big now it’s hard to find a mount that can handle the weight and vibration. I will say the sticky suction mount never came off and did well, but the weak part is the small plastic that holds the different pieces together. The clamp for holding the phone worked well and held it tight, and the arms were extendable enough to find the right position for what I needed. This product would probably be fine for someone with a medium/smaller phone that doesn’t have a heavy case (like Otterbox defender style or similar is probably too heavy). Also where you mount it makes a difference too, I was trying to use the dash. If you want to be able to have something hold your phone for maps/navigation, just get an Android powered car stereo with a big screen. They make them custom for most vehicles now and with the right research you can find the one that will work for your car. Then it doesn’t matter where you put your phone while you drive and it’s a lot safer than looking at your phone while driving. They also give you the option for a backup camera, which is another reason I chose to go the stereo/screen route. Read more
