I use this to hold my 8" tablet with my mapping software in place on my side by side. it has never slipped out and has worked perfectly, even on the extreme trails, which make the "hard" trails seem easy. It's working great and definitely been tested on some hard trails. I highly recommend it. Read more

I needed the ability to update documents in the field. The base of the stand was attached to a scrap piece of decking material. Then placed between the passenger seat and the center console. The stand is sturdy enough to support both the detachable keyboard and tablet. There is no "wobble" when typing on the keyboard or if anyone jumps in the passenger side of the truck and closes the door. It is not made for driving while in this configuration. Popping the tablet out and stowing it between job sites is easy. Another feature that I like is the ability to move the mount between vehicles. The stand is easy to adjust to accommodate the different configurations of vehicles or even if setting on the desk top. If I am using a smaller SUV, even with the rougher ride quality, the stand is sturdy enough to remain in place. It will hope a Samsung 10.1 inch Tab A, the little android notebook (pictured) and some larger phones with no problem. Very useful product. Read more

I mounted this up on the garage wall next to the workbench, and it works just great! The kit is pretty simple and comes with longer screws and anchors for wall installation and shorter screws for dash installation. There's a pretty good amount of flexibility in the mounting arm as far as angle goes; you can pretty much angle the mount in whatever position you might need, the only limit is the length of the arm (about 6 inches). The arm has adjustment points both at the bracket and at the tablet side, which is what gives it so much flexibility. The material feels pretty sturdy and should be able to hold up well. The bracket holds my Fire HD 10 just fine horizontally, and has enough room left to take something a bit bigger as well. Pretty pleased with the bracket, it does just what I want and seems pretty secure. Once the adjustment knob is tightened up, both ball joints are secure with no movement at all. Good so far! I have a phone with buttons on the lower side that makes using a side grip mount difficult. This mount squeezes the top and bottom and works perfectly. It is a 1" RAM style mount. I have a mounting bar in my Jeep JK and did not use the provided mounting base. Instead I have a 1" ball mounted on the Jeep's bar and attached this mount's arm to that. The arm is designed so that it will remain clamped to the phone mount end, while opening on the other end, a nice feature. I have used this for a couple lengthy trips now. The arm tightens without issue, and holds the phone securely in place. A Jeep is not the gentlest riding vehicle, and it hasn't budged. This a great mount -- I got this one for free to review it, but I'm going to buy at least one more to use in other applications. Read more

I 'm using this in my workshop to mount my phone above my workbench. This mount is very sturdy and holds the phone in place without any vibration when I interact with the mounted phone. Most of the mounting hardware is metal and very strong. The phone holder has a retching clamp that holds the phone very well with no chance of it falling out. The clamp is large enough to hold devices as small as a phone to a full-sized tablet with no problem. I like the clamp cutouts which allow for easy charging of the devices while mounted. Read more
