I bought these mainly because of the design AND because they were described as refillable. They do have an opening at the bottom to put in new tissues. The problem is that the tissue is a square and the refills are more expensive than buying them in the box. I was hoping to cut down on waste, but this doesn't seem to be the economical solution. If you don't mind paying extra and are truly in love with the design, then this works well. The tissues pull out easily. I didn't love all of the designs and ended up using contact paper to cover. I might try to repurpose the container for something else. Bummer. Read more
