So far I LOVE this wok. I did a whole ton of research because there are currently such a lot of them out there. Came down to three candidates and chose the cheapest. Yeah, I am that kind of gal. And I have to say this is one beautiful piece of carbon steel, beautiful satin finish, excellent weight (not light). It heats evenly, quickly and well. It cooks as you want a wok to cook and it's little ladle included is quite nice for tossing things. I can make quite a batch of fried rice in this, as well as anything else I like. Handle is sturdy; you must put it on the wok, but it doesn't loosen at all, and is quite stable. I am glad this was my choice and I wuld choose it again. Season first with a nice coat of oil, wipe clean with paper towel and you are ready to go. Nothing sticks at all, and it is easy wipe out to clean with clear warm water. Read more

Impressive to look at and also to handle because it's well balanced. It's a bit larger than my previous wok but it's lighter in weight, or it feels lighter due to the handle, which my other wok didn't have. The craftsmanship is impeccable and it was a breeze to put the handle on the wok. The spatula that came with it is high quality as well and the lid has a feature I've never seen before in a wok: it has a handle that allows the lid to sit vertical on the counter. That was also easy to put on with just a single screw. I have not cooked with it yet but the holidays bring a lot of instances to experiment with it. Read more

This 13-inch carbon steel wok heats fast, sears perfectly, and feels just right in my hand. The glass lid traps steam beautifully, and the silicone spatula doesn’t scratch the surface. Works great on gas, electric, and induction. Seasoned it once—now it’s naturally nonstick. Durable, affordable, and ready for stir-fry night every night. Read more

The wok is good quality and non stick. We use it for Chinese stir fry and it’s great. Removing one star because the lid does not stand well as it’s supposed to. The end of the handle is not thick enough to serve as base for standing. Also, the wok is a little heavy, not easy for quick flipping stir. Read more

I recently bought the steel wok, and it has quickly become my go-to pan for stir-frying. The size is perfect for whipping up meals for my family, and the pre-seasoned surface means food glides right off. I love the glass lid for monitoring my dishes without losing heat, and the included silicone spatula is a nice touch. It heats evenly on my induction stove and captures authentic flavors beautifully. Cleanup is a breeze too. Overall, this wok has brought joy back to my cooking, and I highly recommend it. Read more

This product is GREAT! First off, I got this product because I originally ordered one from a different company. And that one was NOT anything like I expected or needed. Cue the 13' Carbon steel wok from Todlabe! First thing that struck me was the weight. It seemed a little light at first, but that's without the handle being attached (It comes in two parts the pan body and the handle). It is a wooden handle with a metal rod that goes through it and screws into the pan. Once that was attached and firm the weight seemed much better. It went from being too light to just right! It heats up pretty quickly as a wok should and for what I can tell, the heat seems to be dispersed fairly evenly. I've cooked up plenty of sauces in this thing, I've used it to cook a nice big scramble for me and my girl, and of course stir-fry. I didn't use any oil for any of those dishes, and the pan did not stick. Didn't even have to season it. But every now and then I do take a paper towel with a little oil and smear it on the pan after a wash. Here is a break down: Positives: 1 - The weight is perfect, feels like very sturdy craftmanship. The bolts are nice and tight and once the handle is attached, there is no wiggle or any moving parts. 2 - The end of the handle doubles as a hanger to hang this in your kitchen without having to take up shelve space. 3- This size is perfect for my needs, enough to make a huge amount of sauce or a decent sized stir-fry for my and my lady. If you have a big family, you may want a bigger one. 4 - Comes with a lid that has breathing holes and a very sturdy handle itself, Which can double as a stand for the lid a very cool and unexpectedly handy feature! 5 - I've had it for a little under a year now ( I bought it in April of 2023) and there still isn't a scratch on it. Now granted I do take care to not use any metal spatulas on it. But that's just because I can't take the noise of metal scrapping against metal. 6 - It comes with a metal spatula as well! Now as mentioned above I don't use metal spatulas on this pan because of personal preferences. But the spatula that does come with it is actually pretty nice. Good construction very sturdy and a nice wide like spoon area. I use it on other pans just not this one, because I feel like I'd scrape it. Negatives: I do love the pan a lot, however there are some negatives. 1 - The bottom of the pan is rounded and the same material as the rest of the pan (which is to be expected I suppose), but it makes the pan very very slick when it's on the burner. This causes it to slide around more than desired when stirring things. There has been a few times where I was generally scared I would tip the pan off the burner. That def got my heart racing a bit lol Which leads me to negative issue number 2. 2 - There is no holding ring on the opposite end of the handle to help with stirring/flipping things. Now granted you can just hold the handle with your off hand while stirring with your other but it would be nice to have that option, if anything just for more safety when having a large amount of food in the pan. Those are really the only two negatives I can think of. I would absolutely buy this one again and would most def recommend this to any one! As a matter of fact I did so while writing this review! If you're in the market for a decent wok that will cook up all the dishes, you will NOT go wrong with this one! Read more
