For the price...great sweater. Read more
I love cardigans & wear one almost daily so I jumped at the chance to try this one, ordering the black option in an XL. The sizing runs small & I strongly suggest sizing up. It is lightweight & does have some stretch though so that helps. However, the material is where I have a problem. I do not like the way it feels - almost like a cheap, stretchy leggings fabric. Kind of like an odd microfiber that snags on the least little thing. I own many cardigans, some cheap & some expensive, but none of them feel like this. Everyone is different, but if you are strongly affected by how materials feel, then you may want to skip this sweater entirely. Regardless, I wouldn't pay the full price for it as there are way better options out there that are more worthy of your hard-earned dollar. Read more

This cardigan is one of those pieces that will be perfect for many occasions. Whether you're throwing it over a nice top to go to work, or over a dress for a shower/event, it will have all of you needs covered. I ordered white so that I can get more use out of it. It is on the thinner side, and I suggest to maybe size up one if you are planning on actually buttoning it closed. However, being on the lighter side it makes it easy to utilize it year round. The Look This black (or whatever color you choose) button-up sweater is the quiet kind of gorgeous, the one that looks like it walked straight out of Stanford or Harvard. She’s plain, but oh-so-polished, sleek without being stiff, structured but still soft enough to move with you. Think bistro lunches, afternoon study halls, and cozy dinners with the hubs. She’s not mountain-hiking or beach-tripping material, she’s café tables, books, and soft laughter in refined company. The Fit That Gets It Right I ordered three sizes up because I wanted to wear her solo and give my curves a little breathing room. On my 5'3", 118 lb frame, the hem hits mid-hip, flattering and balanced. If you prefer that slim fit, size up just once and you’ll be golden, but I like a little space to layer or lean into a softer silhouette. She’s a proper Ivy girl through and through. The Fabric That Purrs Softly The blend is 75% viscose and 25% polyester, and it feels divine. Smooth, breathable, and kitten-approved for sensitive skin, no prickly ends or scratchy bits in sight. It’s the kind of fabric that feels clean and cool to the touch, polished enough for work but soft enough for snuggles. --------------------------------------- Fabric Breakdown: The Smart Duo 75% Viscose – The Silken Scholar Viscose brings the sleek drape and refined softness that makes this sweater feel expensive. It’s breathable, fluid, and moves with a quiet confidence that never overdoes it. 25% Polyester – The Structure Keeper Polyester gives strength and staying power, helping the sweater hold shape while resisting wrinkles and wear. It keeps that crisp Ivy edge through every wash. Together? They create a fabric that’s soft, structured, and seasonless, the kind that feels smart enough for the office and smooth enough for movie night. --------------------------------------- The Details That Earn Their Degree Nine glossy buttons trail down the front, perfectly stitched and evenly spaced. The neckline ribbing measures about three-quarters of an inch, the button placket about one and a half inches, while the cuffs and hem have a tighter 2.5-inch rib that adds polish without stiffness. The interior ribbing is smooth and tight, creating that tailored look that whispers “class” in the best possible way. The Style Picture her tucked into a pencil skirt with pearls for that Harvard library glow, or paired with fitted jeans and ankle boots for a crisp campus stroll. She belongs in coffee shops, art galleries, and elegant little moments between errands. Dress her up, dress her down, she’s ready for whatever the day or night brings. In Closing This sweater is sleek, sophisticated, and kitten-soft. She’s the perfect middle ground between luxury and everyday ease. Black, polished, and quietly confident, she’s one of those pieces that make you feel like you have your life together, even if you’re just reaching for another cup of coffee. This little Ivy kitten is keeping her close for every season. Purr~ Read more
I am thrilled to have finally found a decent looking cardigan that I ordered online. I typically have bad luck in this department, but this one is exactly what I’ve been looking for. To start, it’s available in orange, and not a holiday orange or a football orange, just a bright tropical orange that pairs well with many of my summer blouses that sometimes need an extra layer due to cold AC. The buttons match the fabric, which is another plus and not always the case with other cardigans. This sweater also seems to have a few more buttons/button holes than some of my other ones which helps prevent the fabric from gaping open when buttoned. It also includes an extra button which is thoughtful. Lose one and you don’t have to try to find an orange button that matches this particular orange. The knit around the buttonholes also looks woven in a way to provide durability, and the buttonholes are the correct size to be functional. This is a slimmer fit cardigan, which is my preference, and although I wear a medium in nearly all t-shirts and pull over sweaters, I ordered this in small because I wanted a snug fit. And that’s exactly how it fits me: snug. It isn’t overly tight though thanks to a decent amount of stretch to the fabric, and the sleeves go all the way down to my wrists, so the small doesn’t look undersized on me, just a snugger fitting version of how I imagine the medium to fit. I washed this on the gentle cycle in a garment bag and cold water, then laid it flat to dry. I didn’t notice any fading, shrinking, or pilling, so the fabric seems like it will perform decently over time, especially for something at this price point. Read more

I ordered this cardigan sweater in a size small, for my daughter. She is needing business casual clothes for work, and I thought this might be nice to throw over some of her lighter weight blouses, or tank tops, for the chili winter months. However, she did not like the material, and she also felt that the length was too long. The actual length of the sweater, was too long, on her frame. The sleeves also were a bit long on her arms. Part of it is just personal preference, and part of it is that it's not super trendy for a young adult. Read more
