If you want these functions, this is the unit
Very functional for my motorcycle, though I have not had a chance to use it for group ride communications yet. Links up readily with my cell phone and has been most useful for me for making and receiving phone calls during a ride and picking up local radio stations. It was a bit of a trick getting my 2 helmets fitted out (wire routing, unit placement); also expect a bit of a learning curve on the use of the units button controls. A couple of times finger-fumbling has lead to a volume blast, but that's on me. Updates have occurred regularly, solving minor functional issues. Lasts a looong time on a charge. Read more
Everything works, but its overpriced
Sound quality is okay, the mic quality is very average and I occasionally get complaints that I sound like I am on speakerphone dispite adjusting Cardo settings in various ways. How they can charge $128 for something that probably costs ~$15 to make/package is beyond me. There are unfortunately ZERO third party solutions for speakers/cradles for Cardos and without such market competition this is the only option. Read more
Perfect addition for my extra helmet
This kit is a must have if you switch helmets often like I do. I use both a modular for long distance and a full face for commuting to work. Being able to have the same Cardo transmitter for both is a cheaper option. Read more
Good backup kit
Can’t go anywhere without it. I used this to set my other helmet up, and the card is got a great battery life, the kit is durable, and the speakers have good audio. I recommend it. Read more
