What's a Cube? In a nutshell, in Trading Card Games (TCG) players play a draft format, but instead of drafting from sealed booster packs, "packs" are pulled from a curated set of cards (the Cube). I'm using this for housing a Lorcana Cube of 384 cards, which is the minimum number to support 8 players drafting from 4 12 card "boosters". I'm using sealable inners and matte sleeves both from Dragonshield, they fit quite snugly. I doubt it will fit 16 more cards to reach the 400 count in the main bay, it may be possible but it will be too tight for comfort with the sleeves I'm using. There are 2 slim slots beside the main tray and I use on of those to hold spare sleeves. One of the trays, hold acrylic tokens, and the second tray holds more cards (in my case I have a bunch of cards from the Ursula's Quest to add some spice if ever). Build quality is very good overall, the magnets are strong; consistent with their other products. I am using single deck deck boxes, and a couple of Academics from the same manufacturer and all have the same quality. Read more

I've been using this Deck Box for my collection of "Boss Monster" and its expansions and it's pretty amazing! Fits sleeved cards and the drawers allow me to fit an expansion itself. Only cons I can think of would be (1) the slot on the side not being able to do much in my case. I can fit one of the rules in but the divider doesn't allow anything bigger to go in. (2) Drawers are stiff to remove, but they are sturdy enough to not feel like you'd rip the thing off if you pulled too hard. Just wiggle as you pull. Read more

I recently acquired the Gamegenic Cards Lair 400+ Convertible, and it has quickly become an essential part of my card gaming and collecting setup. First and foremost, the storage capacity is impressive. This box can hold over 400 double-sleeved cards, making it perfect for large collections or multiple decks. The adjustable dividers are a great feature, allowing me to organize my cards efficiently and access them easily during gameplay. The build quality is outstanding. The exterior is made from a durable, premium material that not only looks sleek but also provides robust protection for my cards. The magnetic closure is strong and secure, ensuring that the box stays shut even when it's fully loaded and on the move. One of the standout features is the convertible design. The lid can be detached and used as a card holder during play, which is incredibly convenient. It transforms into a multi-purpose accessory, making it easy to keep my cards organized and within reach during games. The interior is well-thought-out, with a soft lining that protects cards from scratches and damage. The box also includes additional compartments for dice, tokens, and other gaming accessories, which is a nice touch for those who like to keep all their gaming essentials in one place. Portability is another big plus. Despite its large capacity, the box is designed to be compact and easy to carry. It fits comfortably in my backpack, making it a great companion for game nights and tournaments. Overall, the Gamegenic Cards Lair 400+ Convertible has exceeded my expectations. It combines ample storage, superior protection, and versatile design in a stylish package. If you're a serious card gamer or collector looking for a high-quality storage solution, I highly recommend this product. It has significantly enhanced my card organization and gaming experience. I built a 270 card cube with 60 basic lands for MTG and it holds everything really well. I like the separate compartments for dice and tokens, and the magnets are really strong. Great product. Read more

Well constructed, and overall a great product. I purchased it because of the explicitly stated compatibility with the Gamegenic Cube system, but that's where I ran into an issue. I have 24 of their 15+ Cube boxes (enough for a 360 card cube), and I interpreted the 400 double sleeved capacity count to be enough, but it wasn't. Only 20 of the cube boxes fit in the main compartment. The other 4 had to be split, 2 each, into the drawers. This left the rear accessory compartments and the dice compartment on top free, but it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. If you're just looking to store 3-4 commander decks, this is great - you should go for it without hesitation. But for my cube, I'm going to go with a different product. Read more

Perfect for a small mtg cube if you use the side compartments for lands. It will not work with cubeamajigs or other cube packs as this is only meant for sleeved cards. The side compartments are perfect for additional cards/tokens as well as dice. Definitely recommend this product for both at home and traveling. Read more
