Buying make-up online when you haven't had a chance to verify the color in person is always a gamble. So when I saw the color of the concealer I ordered in person, I was a little worried... but after applying and blending, I was VERY happy with this concealer's performance. The coverage is indeed full and matte and the overall formula is creamy and very easy to use. As someone with maturing skin, I'm also happy to report that this concealer did not have any caking effect. Some minor notes, though: there is indeed a scent to this concealer. It's minor and I found it rather pleasant, but if you're sensitive to smells, keep that in mind. Also, this claims to be more than a concealer. It does work well as a primer, I'll give it that, but I noticed no plumping effect and I've been using it for a couple of week now. I typically use a different concealer, but I had the opportunity to try this one through the Vine program. Overall, this is a perfectly fine product, and you do get a generous amount in the tube. The first thing I noticed was the scent, which I don’t love. It reminds me of a cosmetic fragrance from 20 years ago and feels a bit dated. The applicator is also quite large and pulls out a lot of product, so you have to be a little more intentional during application. If you’re not careful, it’s easy to apply too much at once. That said, the texture and coverage are both very good. The formula is creamy, spreads easily, and provides solid full coverage. The shade 102 Neutral Fair was an excellent match for my skin, and once blended, it gave my under-eyes a very natural look. It didn’t cake or settle into fine lines, which I really appreciate. This product is marketed as a 3-in-1 concealer, primer, and plumper. I can’t say I noticed any plumping effect at all. It does work well as a concealer and seems to function fine as a primer, but the “plumper” claim didn’t show results for me. The finish is fully matte, with no glow or illuminating effect. While that works well for concealing, it doesn’t offer the blurring or brightening effect that some other concealers provide—features that more mature skin often benefits from. Overall, I’ll keep this in my makeup rotation and use it on casual days when I want a natural, matte finish without fuss. I want to start by acknowledging the amount of concealer included in this product. In comparison to typical concealers that I have used, this one contains a large quantity. It has a fresh, lovely scent and doesn't smell stale or funky like some concealers. It has amazing coverage and I found myself wondering why I have never heard of it? I have been using it to cover any random acne, but also under my eyes. I have been impressed with how much it brightens my under eye area. Usually, the more liquid concealers seem to fade quickly for me as I live in high humidity. If I need a concealer that is really going to stay, I usually have grabbed a more solid, palette concealer. This concealer is easy to apply with the large sponge tipped applicator, although you still need to use your fingers to rub it in. It spreads easily and only a small amount is needed. It provides a full coverage while leaving a soft, matte like finish on my face that is not too thick. It's an all-in-one product that does not require additional powder and has no sticky residue. Usually when it comes to concealers I use color correcting so red or green, but I found this concealer to work all over my face for all applications I usually use concealer for, including dark circles and blemishes. It's light and buildable coverage and a little bit goes a long way when it comes to building it. This is a really good concealer and it is definitely full coverage. However I would not say it is the best matte one. It still has quite a bit of shine to it. It goes on VERY smooth and has a good applicator. It does not smell bad or have any stickiness to it however which is very nice. It is not too watery or too thick. Over all it is very nice! For the majority of my life, I have not wore make up. Now that I’m 48 and I have a few more wrinkles on my face. I like to try to conceal those as much as I can without having to apply full makeup. This concealer is perfect for that! It hides some of the lines around my eyes without showing that I have anything there for that. Got this for the dark areas in the corners of my eyes. I am very pleased with the color because it doesn’t have the typical orange cast common in many concealers that are described for very fair skin. The concealer goes on smooth, covers well and leaves an almost silky feel. I am disappointed the tip is so huge. I just need to apply a little tiny bit and the sponge tip is relatively big for the job. Read more
