These pants are everything I wanted. They are true to size. They are a little bit big for me, but the elastic in the waistband helps keep them from sliding down. The fabric is nice and heavy, (97 percent cotton) so they will be sturdy for a long time. The pockets are expandable, so they can hold your phone or wallet easily. The darker color choice was exactly what I wanted. I love that you can cinch in the leg at the ankle with the laces inside the leg. The buttons on the pocket flaps are also very sturdy. This is the THIRD pair I have purchased! I very RARELY write reviews, but these are worth my time and money. I am 5'3" and 175#, size 14. These pants are not tight and not too baggy, exactly what I was looking for. With a smaller waist and a bigger booty, I had to have the elastic waist for them to fit. There are two belt loops in the back, a MUST for any belt to fit right! Belt not included nor is it necessary except if wearing a holster. I love that the waist fits my shape, unlike the straight waist boy fit of most pants. The length is perfect for my 5'3", which may not be good for taller statures. The length covers my ankles and heel. It's on the floor without shoes on. I have the dark camo, white camo, and black. Will get tan next. The dark camo does have white fabric inside that's kinda odd, but no one sees it. The material is soft cotton but not thin and not stiff. The thickness of the cargo pockets help keep the breeze off, but still surprisingly comfortable in warmer temps and hot flashes. I love how deep every pocket is too. Read more

Definitely size up. I have a normal to maybe a little big butt and the pants do want to dip in the back, especially when sitting or bending. Also, the pictures advertising the pants mostly are shown with belts. The belts do not come with them. You have to read to the end of the description before they tell you. I can not find where this same company offers belts so it may be hard to find the exact shade for some, especially the purplish ones. However, I do like the pants. They're are comfortable, cute and for what they are, they are well made and the material is okay. I'm 5'9" and the length was great. The instructions do say hand or machine wash but I will not be putting in the dryer for fear of shrinkage. I do plan on buying different colors. So, I'm satisfied with the quality for the price.
