finding camo for women is spotty, rarely getting what I want that fits, so I tried boys (am 110 lb 5'3" female) and these in 14 are just right/thought the 16 would fit but were a bit big so I reordered the 14). My Son is a size 6 in levi's and these fit WAY bigger than those pants in length and width. That being said, I still love them. My son is also very thin so lots of synching of the waste is needed but they would definitely fit over a pair of snow pants or fit a husky kid. The fabric is nice and thick and sturdy. They are great for running around outside all day and hide dirt stains very nicely. :) I would definitely recommend these. ***Update*** It has been a year and these size 6 pants now fit my son (Who is now a size 7 with most other brands) perfectly. Even though he has used them quite a bit in the last year, this is one of the only pairs of pants that he owns that he has NOT managed to rip the knees out of. Bought a size 5 for my 4 1/2 year old but they just fit. He is a little tall and 45 lbs, but not bulky at all. They were a little big but with the adjustable waist band they would fit perfect. I didn't want perfect. I wanted them to fit for a while so I ordered a 6. They were really long but I just tacked up the legs and used the adjustable waist. They stayed up great and they will fit for at least this season and next and will get my moneys worth. They are good Carhartt material and I see them lasting for a long time. Read more

Nothing more need be said about Carhartt quality, these pants are excellent, especially for boys. My son is 11. The size 12 pants at Old Navy are enormous on him, the size 12 pants at Children's Place are perfect. These Carhartts are somewhere in the middle of the two. If your child is an average 11 year-old, I would round down to size 10 rather than up to 12. They are also quite generous in the width, so hemming would not tackle the problem. Read more

My first Carhartt...5'3" 110lb female and love these as it's so hard to get women's camo that fits me. the size 14 fit me just right. Legs are a bit roomy for normal wear but great for ATVing and outdoorsy which will be most of my wear. I love the quality tho I already knew Carhartt stands for quality. Read more
