This coat was perfect for protecting my American Pit Bull this past winter! It is extremely durable with a quilted liner & a corduroy lined collar. My dog literally has no hair to protect his skin/body. Before this coat he would shiver outside. Once I got this coat on him everything changed. There is very little stretch to it. The coat fits him comfortably. It’s easy to adjust on him with a velcro strap under his neck & belly. It stays securely on & functions very well when he walks or runs. I attached pictures to show you the features of the coat & how it fits my dog. He’s 80 pounds & I purchased a large. There’s also a small pocket on the coat. Purchased the Black XL PFAS-Free Dog Chore Coat at the same time as the Tan XL Dog Chore Coat (not PFAS-free) and the black coat was noticeably smaller. It does not have a harness access on the back, reflective strips, and the collar shape differs (pointed vs rounded). The quality of both coats is very nice, they’re durable and easy on/off - however it’s disappointing and frustrating to see them present so differently. Read more

Sizing is great if you follow the instructions. I got the PFAS free jacket, so it doesn't shed water like a duck, but is good enough for a light drizzle. Velcro works great and is well placed, could probably benefit from rear-leg elastics (easy to add, but would be easier to have them put in and owner could cut them out if unneeded. Duck fabric is excellent and stitching quality is excellent. I only wish they still made the Tarmac Camo version. Read more
