5’11” 180 pounds. Bought xl and it is very roomy in the stomach but shoulders are perfect. I’m a mail carrier and wear this under a postal coat to stay dry during down pours and it works great. This jacket is definitely a great jacket for hard rain. It really holds up well in heavy downpours and keeps you dry, which is exactly what you want from a Storm Defender jacket. However, when it comes to winter warmth, I would say it’s not designed to keep you warm on its own because it doesn’t have an inner insulated lining. But there’s an easy solution — just wear a thin fleece jacket underneath, and you’ll be all set to go. With layering, it works perfectly fine in colder weather. Other than that, I absolutely love the rich navy blue color. The pocket selection is great and very practical, and I really like the mesh sleeves that help prevent cold air from getting inside the jacket.
