Carhartt Womens 103104 Womens Rugged Professional Series Loose Fit

I love these pants. As other reviews mention, they run a bit small. I'm 5'4", 160 lbs, normally wear a size 14, large hips and thighs. Based on other reviews I ordered these pants in a size 16. They fit great. They are a bit long. I ordered the regular length and with my work boots on they are still a little long. Not long enough that I'm walking on the hems, but they gather a bit at the ankle. I may try the short length next time. *Edit* I did try these pants in "short." One was perfect, but one "short" arrived with an inseam of 33.5"! Unfortunately, I didn't notice how long the one pair was until I had already washed it, so now I can't return it. I love Carhartt jeans. It is sometimes difficult to find just the right pair that fit you right are comfortable and yet functional. These jeans hit all those marks and then some! I’m one of those women who really don’t like to carry a purse. These jeans have a great pocket for my phone and another one for my wallet. ordered 16 short loose fit navy and received a size 10/12 low rise (think early 2000s) skin tight pants with no movement. these would be better relegated to office work. I can't believe how off the sizing was. the material is stiff polyester. the package arrived broken open with water on the bag. will be returning....what a farce. Read more

They look wonderful, but runs very small at the waist. I usually wear a 10 which is what I ordered, but could barely button up. To make matters worse, the waist has no elasticity. It does not stretch whatsoever. Either it fits you or it doesn't. There's no wiggle room and no extra fabric available for you to take to a tailor to have let out.
