I bought two of these 5 years ago when we moved into a new home. I wasn't sure at the time how well we would like them or how well they would hold up over time. 5 years later I just bought a new set for when these are in the laundry. These are large, thick and extremely soft when new out of the package and over a five-year period never felt old, scratchy or thread bare. In fact, until I ordered the replacements, I would have told you they never lost any of their softness. I realized how much softer the new ones were compared to 5 years old when I opened them, but the old ones still feel great. We use these daily and they always dry in about an hour once hung up. So far I really like these towels. They are much softer than the all-cotton towels I have been using, and are very absorbent. They dry quickly and dry very well after a shower. The lint in the dryer is not as much as some cotton towels I have had. Read more

I had one of their washcloths for a while and wasn't impressed until I switched my laundry detergent and started using vinegar in the fabric softener cycle and it was noticeably softer so I decided to buy the towel size and amazingly, it's super soft right out of the package. I've tried several towels over the past year and a half (think Bed Voyage, Brooklinen, FrontGate, The Company Store, Cozy Earth and more) and this is literally the best one I've tried for summer. I think because it's thinner it's better for warmer weather or if you like thinner towels in general than heavier ones. It's soft and a little plush which is very hard to pull off in a towel. I wouldn't pay full price though, I think it's a little pricey for the thickness but if you get it on sale, which I did, I think this would not only be a wonderful staple for the bathroom, but also great for gifts.
