It works perfectly on a glass stove top

My husband uses this little guy every day for his three eggs, and he absolutely loves it. We have a big skillet and he hated how it took so long to heat up and he had to wait for it to get to a certain temperature so his eggs wouldn’t run around the whole skillet. He hated it. He tells me probably every other day how much he loves THIS one. Ha ha ha. It’s very sturdy, a really good value and easy to wash. Get one. :) 1/2/2024 Update: Now I have been using it daily also, for a few months, and it still works great. The best thing you can do to care for this skillet is DO NOT SOAK IT. I love my plastic/Melamine spatula and use it on this skillet (the white 11.25 inch Chef Craft Basic melamine, slotted Turner/spatula from Amazon). I scrape off all the little bits of egg with the spatula when I’m done frying my eggs, and set it on the back of the stove to cool. Then I put the spatula into a cup of soapy water and later, when the frying pan has cooled down, I wash it and the spatula with a soft bristled brush. We have a glass stove top, so pans have to be completely flat and this one has stayed flat and the surface inside the pan is still fine. Nothing has peeled off. This is a good quality product and you should buy one. I’ve been thinking about seeing if I can find a large one in the same brand. Read more

Arrived missing one of the screws needed to attach one of the handles, precipitating a trip to the hardware store. Apparently CAROTE needs to up their packaging quality control game. Other than this irritation, the pans look and feel great. Read more

I had a hard time believing this was as good as Teflon but it really was super nonstick. During my egg test, I was super skeptical but I cooked a perfect egg. The heat conduction was similar to aluminum, and the eggs slid around super easily. It has a nice weight to it and the base was thick and flat unlike a lot of cheap aluminum pans. I expect this to be really durable as long as I hand wash and avoid metal utensils. I'm curious to determine what will be the first thing to fail. My guess is the handle, although it seems super sturdy upon first use. I really can't find any downside. Very happy with the purchase at this price. Read more
