Maybe the only thing that needs they might need the adjustment I mean a rework is the Thumb area to make it a bit wider but that depends on the person like somebody else said earlier if you tighten it too much you'll have a swollen hand and that can go away in a couple of hours in the daytime or whenever you take out the brace. It would be an additional benefit if it would have come with the metal plate on top because it only has metal plate on the bottom but maybe it's not needed ?? I wear at work instead of sleeping in. Since meant for sleep obviously not constructed for labor however I use wrap on palm to stop from tearing apart. I like the that it winds to lighten and pops open to let loose. Can only tighten so much before pops loose and easy to pop open so that can be annoying when catches on sweater or something but easy to tightened back up. For me I wake up and wrists are swollen and as morning goes swelling goes down so I keep lightening. Once swelling down it doesn't fit as well as I like but still works well. I wear them every day at work. Wish wasn't $20 each but in comparison to others everything is that much so you need to decide what works best for you. Read more

I got diagnosed with tendinitis and was given one of those generic 3 velcro strap braces to sleep/lift weights with. It was comfortable but the velcro gets dirty QUICK when sleeping and it can get kinda worn out, and then the velcro doesn't fit no matter what you do. So I spotted this brace, and I'll be real, the free product vine reviews had me skeptical but I gave it a shot. So far, it is comfortable and easy to use! No velcro so no worries there. I haven't slept in it yet, so I don't know how that will fair, and I will say that not being able to adjust the tension myself is a bit of a downside compared to the velcro... but overall this brace is worth the money!! great i use it every day no problems at all love ut and im almost pain free with useing it for carpel tunnel. desigened very well and very stable for daily use or night time relife. i love much better than the standred one i was useing with three straps. thumb hole could be bigger though that part is a bit tight.
