I didn’t technically need another suitcase — but I’ve learned to listen to my intuition - which was shouting loudly to buy this. So glad I listened. This is more than a carry-on — it’s a thoughtful, well-designed travel companion that quietly solves problems you didn’t know you had until it solved them. Let’s talk structure first: Dimensions: 22" x 14.5" x 9.8" (meets most carry-on specs), expands to 10.8" wide Weight: 7.5 lbs Wheels: Four smooth-gliding spinners that feel durable and maneuver well Color: The green with tan trim is elegant, distinctive, and easy to spot without being loud Now for the part that surprised me: The padded laptop holder in the front tech compartment is outstanding. It holds a 13" MacBook and a 13" iPad Air, both in rugged cases — with room to spare. The sidewalls of the front tech compartment open fully via inner Velcro flaps, so the whole panel folds flat for easy access. There’s also a back-panel zipper in the front tech compartment that gives you top access to the main interior — smart design for when you’re in a hurry - or you just don't want to open up your whole suitcase. Great functionality. Oh — and I appreciated this small thing deeply: There’s room in the tech compartment not only for your files, papers and a snack but you can fit a great book in there to bring along on the plane and easily access it before sitting down. It’s also just... nice to look at. There’s something about the feel of the materials, the zipper pulls, and the subtle geometry of the lining that makes it feel intentionally made. I just like when products are well thought out. I checked to see if this manufacturer makes a bigger version, they do not. It is a nice looking suitcase but the zipper for the lap top compartment split on the first time I used it. I could put a 9”Kindle in it but not a regular 15” lap top. The inside pockets are nice but the zippers are not heavy duty and we will see how long before they also split. The expandable feature is quite nice. Read more
