Okay, I'm 6 months into using this cover in hot sun, hurricanes, and too much rain. So far the cover has performed beyond my expectations. I place dehumidifier boxes in the car when I put the cover on. I take the cover off ever 2 months and run the car. Absolutely no moldy smell or such. I think this cover does breathe while protecting from the sun. The fit is perfect on my Honda Fit. The strap underneath holds the mid section down well. Not an easy cover to put on - but it works very well! Okay, negatives? Can't think of much but I'll start with the price. (Maybe you do get what you pay for?) It is hard to put on as you must be on hands and knees to attach the strap. It fits so well that you really have to have a technique to get it on right. At first I wasn't sure about this. The fit seemed decent (no pun intended) but over time I've come to really respect that it's actually quite perfect. My application is harsh -- keeping many feet of snow off my car so I can clean it off in a hurry when needed. So this cover is getting the full serious (Buffalo) winter experience and it's doing great. Sure, sometimes it freezes to the car, but car and cover seem ok. I don't remember any instructions but here's a tip for putting it on -- toss it on the top of the car and then try to grab a mirror extension and put it over the mirror, then do the other mirror, and the rest will fall perfectly in place. Bought an extra car that will spend some time ungaraged and decided a car cover would be a good idea to protect it from the Florida sun and pooping iguanas. I went with this one as it is specific for the Honda Fit, including a pocket for the antenna. Other covers use an antenna patch. I suggest you read the directions which you will find folded up in the storage bag. I started unfolding the cover in the kitchen and it seemed huge and unwieldy, although it’s not at all heavy. I located the pockets for the mirrors and the antenna, that way I was able to figure out which end was the front. (The directions give you specifics steps to unfold on your car, so that would have been easier.) I put it aside until I was ready to cover the car. I admit I was wondering if it was going to be more trouble than it was worth. I had a chance to wash and dry the car this morning so I could put the cover on. I started at the back end of the car, slipping the antenna into the pocket, then moved forward, covering the mirrors and pulling the elasticized bottom down around the car. I was truly astonished by how easily the cover went on. There is a buckled strap that goes under the car to help keep it on if it becomes windy. I like the fact that it is specific for my car. It fits well without a lot of extra fabric. At the same time, the fit isn’t so snug that it is challenging to get it on. It has not been exposed to rain or weather yet. This is a great value for the price. Easy to roll over the car, and the underneath strap is a must. The fit is large enough to fit over the car without struggle, but not so loose as to shift in the wind and scratch the car paint. I had an easy time of it, and I'm an older woman not terribly tall or strong. Don't be intimidated....it was easy! Read more

I was worried about the fitment of this cover. I have a second gen fit sport 2009 with a mugen front lip. The cover is not designed for the extra lip, however i was able to get the cover to cover it. Its is tight but I am very happy with the cover. Read more

I have only had this for a short while, but I was impressed with the ease and fit of putting it on. It has only rained once and seems to waterproof as advertised. The side that rubs on the paint is soft and hasn't scratched or affected my cars' surface. Read more

I bought the Carscover for my 2019 Honda in August, 2021. After only 10 months the cover began rapidly eroding in the sun, creating thin spots and loose bits of fiber everywhere that stick to the window. I never brushed, washed, or treated the cover in any way. For the record, I live in the San Francisco Bay Area which has a Mediterranean climate.
