Great espresso maker that’s easy to use and delivers an excellent cup of coffee. One push of a button and bean to coffee is instantly made. We own another fully automated bean-to-cup machine that costs more than twice as much, and this CASABREWS ACAFE PLUS has honestly impressed us with how well it performs despite the low price. Because of the sleek design, the water reservoir is probably smaller with the amount of coffee we make. What really blew me away, though, was the customer service. We usually just return products if there’s an issue, but we liked this machine so much that I reached out instead. The machine is easy to use and the coffee is relatively good. I discovered through hard experience that there is one step missing in the descaling instructions: after you have long pressed the water button and the descaling indicator is blinking, I needed to then PRESS THE WATER BUTTON again. This machine is amazing! We were reluctant to spend so much on a coffee machine— we’ve used keurig and Nespresso. This coffee tastes better and with a couple of different syrup flavors, we are able to make coffeehouse quality lattes at home. The best part is the customer service from Casabrews. We had an issue with the machine and after reaching out to them, which they responded to immediately, they tried to direct us in how to fix the problem. I was hopeful about this machine, but after using it a few times, am very disappointed. The brew is very weak and is not real espresso. I couldn't even add 6 ounces of milk without the coffee flavor disappearing. I also tried adjusting the grind size, but it didn't seem to change anything in brew quality or flavor. I am a barista at a coffee shop and I didn't want the hassle of a manual home espresso machine, but maybe it is worth it. Read more
