Great little lantern
My wife bought these for me several years ago and brought them home to me. She knows I love to backpack and car camp several times a year and she’s likes to surprise me with novelty items at times. I appreciate her willingness to please me with items she thinks I will use or enjoy and her gifts are hit or miss at times. I brought these along on my annual family/friend week long camping trip to the mountains of north Georgia one year not expecting much and was quite surprised. We usually have between 15-30 campers throughout the week encompassing a relatively large area with tents, tarps, and a outdoor kitchen set up under a 20x30 foot tarp. We have used propane and gas lanterns in the past (30 plus years) and they work fine but are noisy and temperamental. I se these up under the kitchen tarp and along the paths between the campsites and they worked perfectly. I particularly like the fact they have a red setting and low and high lighting setting which allows for lighting at night but not overpowering. Everyone was quite impressed with these little jewels. I have ordered more as they are perfect for emergencies during power outages and for camping. The battery life is outstanding. I highly recommend these little lanterns because they are inexpensive and work wonderfully. Read more
