I thought that I would take a chance and buy this cashmere cardigan sweater for my wife in medium. I have purchased other sweaters in the past and it seems like every manufacturer is different when it comes to sizing. My wife is 5"4" and weighs 130 lbs. so I decided to get the sweater in medium and it fit her perfectly. A few years ago I purchased a Pendleton cashmere sweater for her in large and it also fit her perfectly. I believe that this particular sweater is a true medium. I have been searching for a replacement for my turquoise cashmere sweater. This one is vibrant and super soft. I love this sweater! I was a little leary about the turned center hem (the side with the buttons is turned, so it is folded over on itself) because it usually looks sloppy to me. This one is really nice, though. I wish there were more jewel tones for me to choose from- hopefully next season. Haven't washed the sweater yet, but I am really happy so far. I spent a while trying to find a decent quality cashmere sweater and was willing to spend over $100 to obtain one. I have several excellent cashmere sweaters purchased from other vendors. I wore the Cashmere Boutique sweater twice and it began to pill. I complained to the company and they responded, "Our sweaters don't pill." I then sent a photograph of the pilling and they said that it was minor and normal. They did offer me the chance to return it and were quite gracious. I did some research and saw that cashmere can pill, so I kept the sweater. Several months have passed and I have worn it numerous times. It is holding up well, but still has pilling. Read more

Nice looking sweater that feels great on your skin. The color is awesome (I got it in a light blue) and while it was a bit small, I opened all the buttons so I could wear it without it looking that way. I liked how it was packaged, not too wasteful of products and economical for shipping in just a plastic bag. Would make a nice gift for someone who appreciates the finer things and just needs a little cover up in a cold office/classroom/courtroom setting. Haven't checked out the washing requirements for it, but assume it's going to need dry cleaning, being wool. It was a much cuter blue than I expected, but if you want to wear it closed, I'd recommend you buy one size up and 2 sizes up if you're looking for something roomy. Read more

The luxuriously soft feel of pure cashmere on this sweater was less than on my other 100% cashmere sweaters. It's not bad just not as good as others I have that were not as expensive. I expected the fit to be relaxed because I ordered a medium — I'm usually a small (5'5" 110 lbs.) — I like way it fits with a shirt underneath.
