An Incredible Everyday Watch! 5/5 stars I had been looking for a watch that was tough, had a classic design, and didn't cost a fortune. The Casio MWA100H exceeded all my expectations. It's a watch you can wear in any situation, whether at work, playing sports, or just going about your day-to-day life. What I like most is its 100-meter water resistance, which is perfect for not having to worry if I get caught in the rain or have to wash my hands. The stainless steel bezel gives it a touch of durability and quality that you wouldn't expect in this price range. The dial is very easy to read, with large numbers and hands that glow in the dark—which is extremely useful. The resin band is comfortable and feels durable, and the overall design is sporty yet stylish. It's not a watch that draws excessive attention to itself, but it fulfills its purpose perfectly. If you're looking for a watch that combines functionality, durability, and style at an excellent price, the Casio MWA100H is a solid buy. I'm completely satisfied with my decision! Read more

This is an unbiased, honest, uncompensated review for this 50mm analog, blue dial Casio Illuminator. I've used Casio watches since the 1970s, they are extremely accurate and have never failed me, and while the battery has failed from time to time, the watches have always performed for several years. Casio has always improved their line and with their dependability and steady prices, has always been a good budget line, and now includes units like this that won't break your budget. There are economy and then there are high priced models which plenty of other companies make, and Casio now makes higher priced units that won't break the bank and can be just as stylish for folks who don't have that kind of budget. These do take a licking though I'm not convinced I want to take this one swimming or in the shower; not even with a more expensive watch rated at 600 feet depth. Others do so with no apparent negative results. If this Illuminator fails, it's not an Omega or Rolex, so isn't as painful to contemplate replacing and it's less flashy so others may not wish to deprive you of your Casio. When this one was recently offered at discount on Amazon, I snapped it up' I really like the size, the housing, the hands, the lighting and blue dial. I'd intended to put a Nato wrist band on it; Wrong; Wife immediately took to it, since it has no digital LED, and the way Casio set up the back light, it's very easy to read. Besides, what guy can say no to their life's companion? Some, not I. She didn't care for the band but neither did I. Now we're both pleased that she has a nice new (inexpensive) leather band on the nice Illuminator watch. The battery life is supposed to be decent, though not ten years, so time will tell! Any time one of these larger Illuminators go on sale, just get one, or two since your Wife will want one, and because it's not as large and heavy as a lady might think. It's light as a feather and entirely appropriate for a lady! Hope this helps others in their purchasing. Read more

this watch is very nice. the time setting is intuitive and i like how the backlight fades instead of instantly cutting off. i recently got into a bad car accident totaling my car and this watch came out unscathed save some blood and scratches on the mineral glass. Read more

I get compliments on this watch all the time! I was able to adjust the strap, which is super easy to do. You can Google or YouTube how to do it. It keeps the time well and I wear it for work and it holds up. For the price it is a great piece to have! Read more

I really like this Casio watch. I've owned many brands of watches over the decades, including Casio's, and this model is nicely done. It has a quality blue face, clear numbering, luminous hands (it reacts to light then becomes luminous) and a beautiful orange/yellow illuminator with afterglow to see the time in complete darkness. The band wears well and the battery is good for 3 years or so, plus it is highly waterproof, rated for 100 meter (3 atmospheres) water resistance and has a scratch resistant lens too. For all the features Casio put in the price charged is very fair indeed! So I'm very pleased with this model from Casio. 😊 Read more
