Overall, I really liked this skirt, but I had to return it due to poor craftsmanship: Where the waistband and the top of the zipper meet, it was not even, so it puckered out there. It looked bad regardless of the top being tucked in or out. The fit was good, and the length worked - I am 5’ 4” and weigh 111 pounds. I do NOT wear heals ;-). As much as I love clothes that have a more feminine look to them, I surprisingly don’t own many skirts. So as soon as I saw this A-line, midi skirt I knew it was something I would wear, and wear often. It’s offered in so many colorways, it was difficult to choose which one to get. Even though the neutral colors would be easier to mix and match, I went with the pink color, and ordered a size large. In person, this skirt looks exactly as it appeared in the product photos. It reminds me a bit of the skirts my mother used to wear to work when I was growing up. It features a front button and zipper closure, with belt loops that surround the waistband. There are darts stitched into the waistband on each side, framing the front button closure, and also in the back. They add fullness to the skirt as well as placing further emphasis on the skirt’s fitted waist. The fabric is substantial, and made with some weight to it. It has a soft, smooth texture and a beautiful drape all around. The large I ordered fit true to size. The waistband fit snug while the rest of the skirt gracefully circled my legs, ending just below my knees. There are pockets added to each side. In addition to using a good quality grade of fabric, the assembly of this skirt was also very well executed. Overall, I’m very happy with this skirt, and I will definitely get quite a bit of wear from it. It’s the perfect style to wear in a professional setting, since the length is appropriate, or it could also be dressed up and worn out to dinner or drinks with friends. It went through my washer and dryer without issue, the fabric didn’t come out wrinkled. Even if it had, and required ironing or steaming, I think it’s worth doing to make sure it looks its best. This is a cute and well made ALine skirt. I got my usual size in skirts but it runs slightly tight in the waist area. It does have a back elastic band but I need to undo the buttons and zipper in order to put it on. I also need to wear it high on my waist, which it is a high waisted skirt. If I wear a tucked in shirt tucked into the skirt you can see the lines of the tucked in parts of the shirt. I am not sure if the waist will be a problem for the smaller sized people but for size xl in the blue color it was tight on me in just the waist area. I would only wear this skit with an untucked top and it would work fine. I like the material, it feels durable but flowy and a medium thick weight. The blue color is just like the online photos, just maybe very slightly lighter in color, The pockets are great and the 2 button accent is cute. The belt loops are nice and the length is great, it goes below my entire knee and it will hide my knees when sitting. It is also machine washable which is great. The price is a bit expensive when not on sale. Read more
