The backpack is made of a somewhat heavy material, which gives it a little bit more structure than your average backpack, but the pockets are still pretty floppy when open. I love the multitude of pockets and the unique design! Pros: - TONS of pockets and sections to store things - Straps are comfortable and have a subtle color accent - Elevated front pockets help keep items from smacking into the ground when the bag is set down - Compression straps on bottom of front pockets adds some practicality and gives a place to attach something like a jacket or maybe a small yoga mat, etc. - Large, lots of space to cram things Cons: - Elevated front pockets might mess with weight distribution if the bag is very full and/or heavy - Elevated front pockets tend to pull the back forward when set down, so it really needs something to lean against to not fall over - Zippers are chunky plastic, which gives the bag a distinct look, but they are pretty difficult to zip smoothly - Lots of space, but the lack of firmer structure to the bag makes things fall all over the place - Not every pocket has designated depths, so stuffed spaces will lead to intrusion into other spaces Read more

I got this backpack for my 17yr old daughter and she likes using it everyday for school- that says alot because she is very picky. Its a combination of the soft nylon material and #8 large zipper construction that makes it better than her other backpacks. The material is similar to other brand backpacks from Lululemon and the zippers are super easy to move around. The pockets and compartments all makes sense and are very usefull. The padding and comfort of wearing the backpack is great as well. Overall this bag is not too big and not too small, constructed well and looks great, so for $36 on Amazon, this is a great deal. I love this backpack. It is plenty big enough for all the things I need, but not boxy looking. The green is pretty and the lining is spectacular. It's a beautiful contrasting rust color. Every time I open it, I smile. There are plenty of pockets, 4 outside zippered pockets and 4 inside slip pockets. There's a 15.6 pocket that will hold my laptop and another one to hold an iPad. There is padding to protect electronics. There are pockets for a water bottle, but probably not a real big one. There is nice padding on the straps so it is comfortable to carry. The zippers work smoothly but you have to be careful of the lining which does get caught occasionally by the zipper. So far it's been easy to free, but you have to think about it when opening and closing. The sewing looks well done and strong so it should hold up well. Highly recommended. Read more
