I am a solid XL in everything I purchase (sad, but true). I ordered this in an XL, always looking to increase my work wardrobe. I laughed when I put it on. Probably to keep from crying, but still. It fit fine through the shoulders but had there been a button, I would have looked like a busted can of biscuits trying to button it. It in no way fit the way the picture shows. I don't think sizing up would have helped it fit correctly either. It is lightweight, and it is "wide-open front," but not in a good way. Refined tailoring is funny, and "flattering silhouette with a cinched waist" is hilarious. I would not say the material is comfortable and the overall quality is just poor.
