I had updated my network setup, adding a rack and a couple of patch panels. My ethernet cables terminate in an On Q panel, from where I had to add patch cables to get to my new rack, so started my search for 10 ft cables. I came across these Xcftaud cables and couldn't believe the price, that they were about half the cost of other brands. I did see that they had good reviews and decided to give them a try, getting 2 packs of 10. I really like the connectors, they connect and lock in well to the patch panels. These are Cat 6a cables, so they are much thinner, making them easy to work work as I had to put them all through a conduit down my wall to reach my rack. The only concern I had with using Cat 6a cables was the stress at the connection to the panel, where the cable then drops down the wall. I had to add some ties to keep the cables pulled up a little to relieve the stress at the connections, not something I would have been as worried about with thicker cables. The cables work great. I am running 2.5gb ethernet throughout my house and have not had any issues with connectivity nor speed. Read more

Used this 24-pack for clean, short-run connections on the patchbay side of a college stadium AV system closet. At 1 foot with a slim 3mm jacket, they tucked neatly into dense D-Sub and RJ45 panels without crowding or kinking—ideal for linking switches, DSPs, and control racks in tight spaces. Delivered rock-solid 10Gbps PoE+ to cameras and touchpanels with zero latency during live events, and the 550MHz rating handled Dante audio and 4K video feeds flawlessly. Pros: Snagless boots and gold-plated connectors survived repeated patching; color (blue) helped trace signals fast; under $1 per cable beats pro-grade alternatives. Cons: None—exactly what a pro AV closet needs. Verdict: Essential for any patchbay-heavy install. These slim, reliable jumpers kept our stadium AV backbone tidy and bulletproof. Grab them for your next rack build. Read more

I got these at a good price and they worked well out of the package. Ours were in 100 ft lengths to span a distance to connect some cameras back to a patch panel and they did that. Because of the long length the slim cable is nice because the weight is reduced considerably and they're easier to work with. Ours had an RJ45 connector with a no snag feature that still didn't interfere much with clipping into the camera housing. If you have a very tight fit for your application some manipulation may be necessary or you may need to look at a different connector type. Read more

Picked up this 5-pack of 20-foot Cat 6 cables to tidy up my home setup, and I’m impressed. The lengths are spot-on, the connectors snap in firmly, and every one tested perfectly right out of the bag. The jackets feel sturdy without being overly stiff, and they route nicely behind furniture. If you need a handful of reliable cables without overpaying for fancy branding, this is a great buy. Ben says: sometimes the simple stuff just works — and these do exactly that. Read more
