Cat Litter Box with Litter Mat and Scoop Large Foldable Litter Box with Lid Front Entry Top Exit

I cannot say enough good things about this litter box. I have a kitten who LOVES her litter box, so much so she plays in it. She hates enclosed/covered litterboxes, will refuse to use the door. I've always had to use a open litter box but she was constantly throwing litter everywhere and it was becoming a smell problem too. I was doing some research and came across this unique litter box. What really caught my interest was the second opening allowing access from the top. I came across the smaller version first then saw the upgraded version and became very interested. I was a bit hesitant at the price, in the beginning. However, it did come with quite a few additions, and ultimately I made the decision it was worth it and purchased it. I was extremely excited, and once the product arrived it has not disappointed. Super easy installation, came pre-assembled and you just popped everything together. Then the top secured everything in place. Once in place, my kitten, with her curiosity began to investigate. I showed her how to use the door, which she wasn't interested in. Immediately she jumped on the top and realized she could access it, and from there she has been in love. It's her favorite thing to jump in and out of the litter box. It has decreased the amount of litter spread around by 98%. There's no longer a smell, and the pull out tray makes it super easy for cleaning! I love it. I only have 2 things that are non-problematic, however, they definitely should be mentioned. First, the design of the litter scoop, it's way to small and plastic is way to thick. I does not glide smoothly, I've resorted to using my old one, no big deal. Second, the clasp for allowing the door to swing back and forth, it was very difficult to remove and once it was out, I struggled putting it on. We have 6 cats in our house. (Yes I know it’s a whole story, they are all well cared for) With 6 cats there comes a lot of smells, and litter EVERYWHERE! Especially since they like to wipe their paws on the walls. I decided to buy one of these litter boxes over a year ago and that was the best decision I could make for the care of my pets. We now have 5 of these in our house. (And yes I know we should have 7 but 5 works for our home at this moment). The design helps keep the smell to a minimum, the height is perfect for our big boy. There is good depth so my cats can turn in the litter box. The design also helps my walls stay clean, so my pets wipe their paws on the walls of the litter box. The privacy is great so my cats can go in one at a time so there’s no problems. My dog can’t eat the cat poo! This is because of the settings, you can have them enter through the top and exit the side! Cleaning is very easy I just use a Clorox wipe and theirs no stickiness. I was so excited to recieve this order, as I had been researching for weeks and reading reviews. This litter box looked so cute and I needed a covered box to help regulate the smell and cleanliness. Upon receiving the box, I immediately put it together and was impressed by how sturdy it was. Everything fit together perfectly and with purpose! The color was exactly how I had imagined it and the added kitty mat was convenient as well. I also loved that I could pull out the tray and clean it without removing the top. My only complaints about this litter box, the ones that made me choose 4 instead of 5 stars, are as follows: The plastic kitty door at the front door entrance can only be pushed inward, not outward. My cat has used many different types of litter boxes including covered, and has never had a problem except for using this one. To avoid using the door at all, she would just go in and out through the opening at the top. It doesn't sound like the worst thing but she's 10 years old and so this isn't a long term box that would be good for her. I did take the door off so she could go in the front, but that kind of defeated the purpose of odor control. Also, she stepped on it and now the door has a crack through the middle so I wouldn't be able to use it again even if I wanted to! The second reason is about the overall size of the box. My cat isn't overly large or fat but she's a fully grown calico that has had 3 litters of babies. She's big. The box was marketed as a large litter box and this one is more medium sized. She isn't able to move around comfortably in it and as a result pees with her head out of the door, or pees on the walls which she didn't do in our other covered boxes. It also means I need to clean the whole box daily if I don't want flies and germs around. Other than these two reasons, the box is amazing. I am disappointed though as I was excited to have something that would make the litter box experience more enjoyable, but it turned out to be more of an inconvenience. Read more
