These Catchmaster Max-Catch Glue Traps work very well for us. Living in southern United States, we have lot of roaches and other pests live in and around the house. These glue traps absolutely help keeping them under control without having to spray any poisonous chemicals inside my house which is the main reason I use these, and I only purchase the unscented ones. This is the 3rd time I purchased these in the last 3-4 years, and I regret that I didn’t buy the 72 pack the first time. For just $10 more, you get double the qty, which makes an already great value even better. The 36 pack lasted me over a year, and I use them very generously. You can use them fold into the box as how they designed, or half folded (90 degree just one fold) can be left in the back corner of behind the fridge/washer, where box shape maybe harder to fit. The card board backing is pretty sturdy, and last a long time without drying out. I also use a trick to catch roaches by leaving the trap flat open on top of kitchen counter with a small piece of banana in the center of the trap. Roaches will try to get to the banana, but will be glued to the board before getting there. Can’t comment on how well rats can fit into these traps if folded into a box, but I have no doubt about the glue will hold the rat if it gets on board. One CAUTION to use these, because the glue is so sticky, if you have pets or young children living in the house, theses traps need to be placed carefully at places where your pets and kids won’t accidentally step into. Does a really great job in attracting small varmints and crawling bugs. But keeps attracting skinks and they catch bugs but once they get on the sticky they can't get out and they die on average every year I catch two to three ... skinks do a great job in Catching all kinds of bugs flying and walking. I just don't know how to keep them out and let the bugs still in cuz once they're on the sticky they're gone Read more
These mousetraps were exactly as advertised. The pack comes with a ton of traps, which was a big plus, and the quality is pretty solid—especially for the price. They arrive flat like a sheet of paper, but they’re very easy to fold into shape. You can even tear one side off and slide it right up against the baseboard without any hassle. The stickiness is no joke. These are extremely sticky—definitely enough to trap something that walks across them. They’re simple to set up, versatile (we used some flat and some folded), and overall very user-friendly. That said, we didn’t actually catch any mice with them. To be fair, I didn’t research the optimal placement for glue traps, and we eventually ended up getting two cats, which took care of the problem pretty quickly. But as far as the product itself goes, it performs exactly how it should. If you’re looking for an affordable glue-style mousetrap that’s easy to use and comes in bulk, this is a solid choice. They're super sticky and they smell good, like peanut butter. I caught what must have been a family of mice in my shed. Ten mice over four days. Two big mice, eight smaller. A couple escaped the traps after getting stuck, but most did not. That was a few weeks ago. No mice since, but a lot of bugs getting caught all the time. I rarely see a beetle when the lights are on, but these traps have caught a few hundred 1 1/2 inch black beetles, many spiders, and other crawling bugs of various types. Makes me wonder what goes on in my "man cave" when the lights are off and I'm not around. They're not that attractive to look at; a white piece of cardboard that says "MAX-CATCH" lying here and there, but neither Good Housekeeping nor Home Handyman magazines have asked to come and photograph my shed recently, so I can live with it. In the ten months since I bought this 72-pack of traps I've caught about 20 mice and many hundreds of bugs. I just put out another dozen new traps a few minutes ago, and I still have 24 left, so this package of traps will last me about 18-20 months start to finish. The adhesive doesn't dry out and stays just as strong as day one no matter how long I leave them out. Not a bad way to spend money, because these traps do a pretty good job of removing various vermin from your living space. Read more
