At first I wasn't going to buy these, honestly I almost passed them up. Why? Because they don't move or jingle, I thought my cat would be bored. My cat is VERY grateful that I bought them! As soon as, and I mean the same second, my cat got the toy, she went crazy.... In a good way! My cat sometimes keeps me up at night playing with loud things that usually aren't even toys, chasing a plastic hair clip or rogue pen up and down the hall, banging them into walls. So I'm hoping these stuffed animals will keep her entertained quietly in the midnight hours. My cat, Catherine the Great, or just "Cat" for short, has been chewing on it viciously since getting it, and it's still in good shape, so I am inclined to say it's a very good deal for the price. While they are still new, they appear to be great quality so far, anyway. They are super adorable little veggie characters and my cat actually likes them BETTER than the mechanical, self-rolling ball I got for her, which REALLY surprised me! Which is good, because I have no idea what happened to that ball, it rolled off somewhere... So if you're a cat owner and you want a quiet addicting toy for your kitty, I'd say these are a great buy! I have bought "catnip" products before and my cat didn't even care about them, so I don't know if they were just scams or what, one of them I got from Walmart, though. This is only the second time I've ever seen my cat get this excited over a toy. I really do recommend. :) Read more
According to my cat she loved them. She indicated they were the perfect size for batting around and tossing in the air, and she loved the catnip. Cute, durable and worth the cost. Read more
I saw these from watching Sir Fur on YouTube. (LOVE this cat and his human narrator.) My three cats went crazy over them the instant I opened the package. They're cute and colorful and cattastic! Read more
The media could not be loaded. Bought these for the feral kitties learning to socialize for play. Introducing a cat that has not had a toy can be interesting. Sometimes funny. Sylvester Ferrel thinks his corn is fantastic. Each kitty has a different approach. Most are hesitant at first. Not Sylvester. I’ve never seen him so happy. My only concern and critique is the toy having easy to chew off parts, though cute, could be eaten and cause digestive issues or death in extreme cases. If it were to get stuck. Easy to remove. I saw someone and the stuffing chewed out. I could see that happening with some cats. The one piece of produce I’d of excluded as the maker is the eggplant because of the negative connotation in emojis. One of the cats who I have the red pepper to didn’t know what to think at first. Then he hugged it and rested his head on it. He’s never had a home so it was super sweet. His names SmokENator. There’s a few more enrolled in the Hisses to Kisses initiative. Helping local feral kitties find enjoyment outta the horrid weather months and socialize for a home someday. These toys and some others are helping create play time as part of their program to learn to have fun rather than fear. If these do not get destroyed will be reordering to add more for the crew. Minus one star for the parts of the toys that are easy to remove and ingest. Cute looking but not save. Potentially dangerous if accidentally eaten and not expelled in a bowel movement Read more
This toy is definitely worth every penny! Both of my cats are very picky and never play with anything we get them. This was different. As soon as it was out of the plastic, both of them were chewing on it and playing with it immediately. They were throwing it up in the air, as well. I thought they were two new cats that came into my house that I didn’t recognize. Fantastic toy. Read more
My cats enjoyed playing with these HOWEVER, they are stuffed with cheap shiny fluff you can buy in any craft store, and ZERO catnip. So.. just know you are paying for fabric wrapped around fluff. You are not getting catnip or "high quality cotton" as advertised. That said, they are a great size and shape and my cats do enjoy playing with them. Unfortunately for this company, I also have dogs who very quickly ripped these open to expose the lack of quality stuffing. Read more
Durable, cute and fun my kitties enjoy their toys. They don't bounce nor make noise - are they supposed to? Read more
Cat loves this strange looking creature! It’s crinkly and fun! Has just the right shape, size, width, padding and angles for hugging and gripping for kickable fun! Cat not only plays with it, it cuddles with it, snuggling and resting its head on it for relaxation. Funny how such a random, odd looking toy can bring such joy to a cat in so many ways! Addendum: Different cats have different tastes in toys. Negative reviews on this one just may be due to the personality and preferences of your cat. I bought three to four other more expensive kicker toys with catnip and/or matatabi and this odd looking, probably not the most well constructed toy, is my cats absolute favorite! Who knows why?!? If the cat could speak, it would tell me ;) Also, the flatness of it, which is some of reviews criticism, actually makes it a perfect body pillow for my cat! I ordered a spare already! It’s on sale!
