This does a great job on my treadmill desk to keep my laptop from sliding around. Granted i'm not running on the treadmill, but it is a thin non adhesive piece of plastic that does it's job. If you put any pressure on the laptop it will move as it's not 'sticky grippy rubber' but just a semi slip resistant thin piece of plastic.
