My daughter ordered two packages of these with some of her birthday money. There was a great deal of variety, she just received either a lot of cards twice (between the two packages), or cards she already had that are super common. She DID still receive a lot she didn’t have and she was overall very pleased with her purchase (as was her sister who got her pick of the duplicates!). Read more

About me: I just started collecting again after only buying cards between 1999-2001, so I’m looking for anything and everything regardless of rarity. This pack did not disappoint. I purchased from Cazillion Cards vendor and got the advertised: 40 commons/uncommons, 5 holos (all of which were reverse holos), and 5 rares (of which 4 were reverse holo, totaling 9 reverse holos.) Of the total pack, I received only two energies and four trainer cards. All cards look real (not knockoffs) and are in mint condition. I received no exact duplicates (I did get two alolan vulpix cards but they were from different expansions so the artwork was different. Same with 2 horseas.) For those considering buying — each booster pack you buy would give you 10 cards, so this is 5 boosters. These give you no guarantee of holo rares, but you typically get a reverse holo at minimum, and they run about $3-4 each which would add up to about $15-20. That makes this cheaper. I wouldn’t order these things expecting hyper rares or anything like that, but those aren’t very common to pull anyway. I ordered three of these to do a random deck battle with friends and they came with decent bulk for what we wanted. Exactly as advertised and shipped quickly/on-time. Holos/rares were there, and it even had a few reverse holo commons sprinkled in. There were a few dupes between separate packages, but hardly any within each individual package. Would order again, provided I’d get the same consistency with product matching description and have potential for getting some cards from different pack sets (to add variety to collection). I almost didn't get these based on some of the reviews, but ultimately I decided to order them after I saw my 5-year-old twins (that are newly obsessed) had already lost and ruined some I bought from Target. So happy that I did! Granted this is from the perspective of someone whose children are too young to understand the game fully, but I went through the pokemon craze the first time it came around with my oldest, so I know a little bit about the quality of cards. These are solid and when held up to light, you can not see print from the other side. What we received: All excellent condition cards (in new condition). 26 common - 23 basic, with average HP higher than our store-bought pack. 3 Stage1. 11 uncommon - 3 basic, 2 Stage1, 6 trainer 4 rare - 2 basic, 1 stage1, 1 stage2 3 energy 6 foils: 4 basic common, 1 stage1 uncommon, 1 stage1 rare!!! So if you are looking to add from your initial deck (that should give you the energy you need) or have young kids that are looking for those higher HP - this set was GREAT for us. Read more

Everything that they said is true. My only complaint is how many doubles and triples I received. My kids thought they would be getting a mixture and they ended up with more than 4-5 duplicates and triplicates. Also, they were disappointed in the fact that 4/5 holographic cards were trainer cards. And the only holographic Pokémon card they did receive had a bent corner. This is a good pack for novice collectors or beginners. But I can not complain too much as there were no lies in the descriptions. I will not buy this again. Read more
