I got this for my son who is 5'9" and 160 lbs. He had a skateboard from Walmart and he tried to do a ollie and the board cracked in half. I don't know much about skateboards but I know that the skateboard is pretty good quality and seems very sturdy. He has tried to do a lot of tricks and the board is still holding up very well. Seven layers of maple wood which from what I know is supposed to be the standard for most skateboards. I think it's cool that it comes with a wrench so he can adjust the wheels or the trucks.
