I've ordered several pairs in different colors. The sizing is a bit off as the pants are much too long, be prepared to hem them. The navy pair doesn't have elastic in the waist which is good. The black and army green do, which is ok but not needed. All the pants are labeled as 50/50 wool and polyester. This combo can be washed on low heat but I'm not sure if it will fuzz hence the dry clean only label. I would think the polyester blend will hold up better than wool and the fabric feels top quality. My take on the colors is that black looks great and nothing like the photo, it's actually black, same with navy and green. Grey, not so much. It's light with a strong dark / light pattern in the weave. It's too flamboyant for my taste. Read more

As I said: These fit and look great. The color is good and the fabric is soft. They're been through the wash with no fading or shrinking. On the construction: The first time I wore them, I squatted down and the center seam let go from the waistband almost to the zipper. I resewed them myself easily, and I put in a double stitch. They've been fine since, but... The fabric, as nice as it is, pills very badly at 'rub points'. Over time this will lead to the fabric wearing through in those areas like a pair of courduroy trousers. I purchased these knowing they were inexpensive and likely only mid-quality because I wasn't sure I'd like wool tweed trousers. The color is pretty accurate and they feel comfortable but they were long. I did measure the inseam and I think the crotch of the pants is longer than normal so it offsets the length of the pants and makes them longer. I had to get them hemmed and found out that the pants were about 2 inches longer on one pant. This is frustrating because I had to go back to the tailor of I dropped them off the make sure we had the correct length. Read more
