I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely these shorts fit and how good and stretchy the fabric was. I especially like the look of the grey camo ones. I went back and ordered a couple other pairs and was mildly disappointed that the red in the photo wasn’t true to life. They’re much more of a candy apple red in person, whereas I was expecting maroon/burgundy based on the picture. I had longer gym-shorts, but like to minimize my use of AC, and have been getting into muscular shape. I like these for being cooler, a little tighter, and shorter. I only work out at home (stretch Cordz & vertical leg press) and sit at my home office, so it's not an "impress the ladies at the gym thing" (except that I like my wife to think I look good). These are very comfortable. I can do squats & leg presses with no troubles. The pockets are a bit shorter than I'd like. Occasionally my iPhone 8+ (the larger one) falls out of a pocket. I ordered 2 more because my wife liked them, and I wanted to try one size smaller. Normally a 34" waist isn't XL so I'm trying size large. Size large was also larger than I wanted. My waist is a measured 35" and medium is my preferred size for these. They are quite stretchy at the waistband until you tie the draw cord. I'm 63 now, so if my wife & daughter say they look good on me I'm happy. Read more

These are great shorts for leg day or keeping cool going commando around the house. I did order and return my size and went with a medium instead. 5’8” at 185lbs stockier power lifter build here. The tighter fit and short inseam keeps everything in place and the shorts are not pulling down sitting deep in a squat. I can not say the quality of the shorts are any better or worse than a name brand. Love my name brand shorts but they are not well designed for men under 6 foot. I would recommend machine wash and then dry on a drying rack and not the dryer. Even my name brand shorts (all of them in fact) say no dryer. It breaks down the elastic waist band and I can tell you it does. Nice shorts that after a few months of washing/drying the waist bands were shot and only stayed up tying the draw strings. These give amazing range of motion and are extremely breathable without absorbing humidity! The one complaint I have is that my washer tends to ruin the stitching. I get loose, tangled strings when I pull it out of the drier. I'm going to try washing these in a "delicates bag" in its own separate load to see if that helps. Other than that, worth it! Read more
