I received a$100 celebrity gift e card for my upcoming cruise. I called the cruise line and they said they were invalid without a pin to an expiration date. These are all invalid. I called Amazon and they assured me I will get a refund but I haven’t seen it yet. Beware ! Read more

Bought a $100 gift card and called the Celebrity 1-800 number to redeem the card. The representative took my gift card info, then instructed me to send a copy of the gift card to the Celebrity e-mail which made my conversation with the Celebrity cruise representative pointless. I sent a pdf copy of the gift card only to be told that they need a "picture" of the gift card. I guess a jpg is all Celebrity can handle. It takes 4 to 6 days for gift card processing. Surely Amazon and Celebrity can come up with a better system than this. Save your self the hassle and just pay for the cruise using another method of payment. Read more

I'd avoid these. Celebrity has 2 types of "gift cards". Why you ask? Who knows. My mother bought be this version and Celebrity just informed me that it can only be used during the booking process. Again, why they decided to implement such a confusing system that only hurts their customers is mind boggling, but maybe they will change their policy at some point. And the fact that Amazon has them marked as gift cards and celebrity says they are gift certificates only adds to the confusion. Read more

I purchased this gift card for a friend; a group of 7 of us were going on a cruise for his 70th birthday. There is absolutely nothing that states that the card can’t be used on board (for things like spa services, etc.), but when he attempted to redeem it, the Guest Relations staff told us that it can only be redeemed prior to sailing for the purchase of the cruise fare. And of course, it’s non-refundable, so basically $100 down the toilet. Read more

Received as a gift from my son. There is nothing on the Amazon site that says it can only be used to pay for a cruise balance. Turns out you cannot use it for anything else. So here we are on my birthday cruise and I am told the card cannot be used. Shame on Celebrity...very disappointed Read more

I ordered two $100 gift cards in one order as Christmas gifts. When the recipient tried using them, they were told that one was invalid since it hasn't been paid for. It was an e-gift card that was emailed after payment! I complained to Amazon and they claimed that since it had been 62 days (2 days past the 60 day limit), there was nothing they could do.
