Red color bled onto white mattress protector
3 stars because they fit our california king bed. But even with washing prior to using, the red color bled onto the white mattress protector. I would recommend a light color not a bold color. The red is also a wild red like that looks like it should be a part of an Indi wedding or something with all the bright colors they celebrate with. I have another set of red sheets from another seller that are a real pretty red but these are loud and bright, doesnt match anything. I would not buy another set in a bold color. Maybe beige or white. I'm bummed about the color bleeding so much. I cant imagine how bad it would have been if I did not wash them first. This is a brand new mattress protector from Ashley furniture that we just got in October '25 so it was not already dingy or discolored at all. Also.i jave some old whote pillow cases I added on tje wash with the sheets and they turned them pink with splotches darker in some places. So just be aware of the colors. My other red sheets dont do this. Also the dryer lint is very red. The first time I washed them it was a lot worse. Read more
