It is easy to get carried away with vitamins and supplements. Soon, you have an oversized pill-minder holder full of pills and capsules. When you start reading about these compounds, you find that many vitamins/minerals have side effects or undesired interactions. The Centrum Silver Men’s 50+ is a welcome outlier. It has basic necessary vitamins and is not loaded up with a lot of unnecessary minerals. Like many quality multivitamins, it does not include iron in case you take a separate iron supplement. Doctor has warned that too much iron ends up being just so much rust that stays in your body. My husband really likes Centrum Silver. He feels very good and never has any stomach upset even when taking it on an empty stomach. Read more
