**Size 8 shoe (Socks were perfect fit)** Honestly these are not bad socks for the quantity. Now if you are looking for the quality they are more of a 4/5. Don't get me wrong, they are not awful but they do seem to be a little scratchy and not the thickest of socks, but for the price you really cant beat it if you are looking for the perfect sock to go in short boots. The texture is not super noticeable after wearing them a while. I bought mind for my duck boots so you can see the top of them and they look really cute! If it is extra cold outside I will just put these over my ankle socks, kind of a snug fit but it works to get the comfort, warmth and style. Next time I would probably look for something with a little better quality (like Redhead wool thermal socks) and deal with the price, but if your on a budget you cant go wrong with these if you don't mind a little bit of scratchiness. I just came online to buy more of these socks as a couple of the ones I already have had gotten holes in them and I was BLOWN AWAY to see that it had been TWO YEARS AGO since I ordered them! I have literally worn these socks EVERY DAY for the past two years and they are just now getting holes, and even then only a couple of the ten socks have gotten holes. I honestly did NOT expect this kind of quality for the price, I am quite impressed. These socks are very soft and insanely comfortable! What you need to know about these socks. Obviously,they are cute and fashionable. Super warm and cozy, nice thick fabric that fit very well. No bagging or pitching in the toes. Firm , but soft elasticity in band. Nice coloring. They wash really well and hold shape, I was surprised because I usually find the cheaper price socks are garbage after only a few washes,but I have had mine since October,washed and worn several times and holding their shape very well so far. I love the colors and height of these socks to wear over my leggings this winter. I wear a size 5.5/6 in women’s and find that throughout the day they do stretch out and begin to slip in my boots. Beautiful, soft and warm. Colors are prettier than the photos make them look. I like that they are a bit shorter with a not too tight and binding top. The tops are always my problem because they cut into my leg leaving a dent around the ankle. These are a bit tight too but still wearable.
